First attempt bfn

We had our first attempt and got a bfn this month...I wasn't working out as much so I chose to stop and did all sups, bath, aci jel, I am not gaining weight but I am struggling with the diet because I live with 4 other people and i have been giving in too much. Do you have any suggestions? Should I cut something out to increase chances to conception?
