Ok ladies just need some advice. I am just shy of 8 weeks. Have not been to doc yet but will soon. Woke today and when I wiped had some blood. Brownish in color no bright red and have some left side cramping. Feels almost like when af arrives. Should I be worried? Trying to just relax and breath and not over think this.

It's obviously never what you want to see but it does happen many times and people still go on to have perfectly normal healthy babies at the end.

 headed your way.

Positive sticky vibes sent your way! With my loss I had enough blood (brownish) where I had to use a pad and cramping was pretty bad, almost popped an advil. Just a few streaks or spots is probably nothing.

Thanks blue. It was really not a significant amount of blood to begin with. The cramping now is just on and off and there is no more blood when I use the RR. Hopefully all is well :)

Thanks kitkat...a more significant amount today, day 3 (still brown) and a bit of cramping. Dont have an appointment at the doc for a bit still so I guess my only option is the ER. Or relax...consider it is old blood and not HOPEFULLY as serious as bright red and try not to stress out too much. Its just hard

I think unless you get severe or bad cramping and or bright red blood best thing to do is try and relax , keep busy! Thinking of you hopefully you can see your doc soon X

At ER...
Doc says levels fine sees a fetal pole through vag u/s but can't detect a heartbeat. He says too early maybe but shouldn't they be able to see something by now?

I feel like preparing for the worst might be mentally better than being hopeful and then heartbroken later. I dunno. I ferl strongly that they should be able to see something. Just want to get out of this hospital and home to my babies.

Something I would like to ask is this...I realize by LMP I am 8 weeks...but the fetus age is only about 6 weeks--ish....would this make a difference in seeing the heartbeat? Is that why they ask you to wait a week to 10 days to have a follow up ultrasound?

They should be able to see the heartbeat at 8 weeks lmp. Did they not find one?

I was 7w1d and no h/b detected. I know that's less than where you are at. But it turned into my DD! Good luck and HUGS to you...

So sorry...it is seeming like a miscarriage in my opinion. Hope I'm wrong though. Are you having any pain??
