Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone is noticing any changes in themselves whilst doing the LE diet? I've been on it about 8 weeks and I think I'm getting more spots around the time AF is due! Nice. Maybe feeling a little more tired generally too. MP x

Yep, I am suffering terribly with spots in the run up to AF. I look like I'm a teenager again! My hair looks lifeless too : (

I had the most horrific head cold. I hadn't been sick in months! I'm on the BCP still and I've had constant spotting I think from the fibre supplements. Generally feeling pretty tired. But I'm actually finding the diet ok. Liking all the carbs. I'm doing the PCOS style so still eating lots of veg and whole grains. X

How long have you ladies been doing LE for?

Since April 1st (with a 20 day break while pregnant). Although I noticed my skin got bad after maybe 4 or 6 weeks?

Difficult to say as I eased myself in gently (started off by skipping breakfast then stepped it up a gear by cutting out snacks then altering my lunchtime meal so that it falls within the LE diet - soup, pasta etc). I am always a little dubious as to how much my LE diet is true "LE". I haven't cut out meat from my eve meal and am not counting fat, protein etc. I am just doing my own thing which works for me!

I am on LE diet since May. No snacking and no breakfast is okay for my.
But my skin is bad around AF as well. And, yes my hair look ugly!

I have more cramings in my uterus/ovaries, AF is also a little more painful, and I noticed that my fertiliy decreases!

I pray thatīs all worth it ....

I couldn't cope with LE. I was a basket case on that diet it sent me insane. I need protein. I am 7 weeks pregnant now & have totally given up on having a girl now, it wasn't worth the terrible anxiety & exhaustion I felt. I just cried ALL the time on LE, & after 6 weeks I was so terribly depressed I started having suicidal thoughts. Started eating meat again & was fine within 24 hours. My 5 year old son also had terrible mood swings, anxiety & violent behaviour if he doesn't eat adequate protein.

For those who find they don't tolerate LE well, some have had success on a low carb diet for pink. I don't think it's the best way to get a girl, and I also don't think it's super safe diet pre-pregnancy, but may be worth it if you are not feeling good on LE.

FWIW I felt dreadful on low carb, meat heavy diets and great on LE. So I think it may be a case of different body chemistries and no one should feel locked into one way because there is NOT just one way to get a girl.

I very much agree that different people can respond quite differently to a diet, and sometimes you'll encounter a diet your body just can't tolerate (like atomic, I do very poorly on Atkins/low carb). However, if you find yourself feeling bad when you first start doing the LE, don't assume you won't be able to do it. Very often there is an adjustment period as your body chemistry changes in response to the diet and your body gets used to fewer meals and calories. This is completely normal and can last a few days to a week; if after a week you aren't feeling any better and cannot tolerate it, then you might consider making some changes.
