Hi there just wondering if anybody has any info on pregnancy after vasectomy does it sway boy or girl or not make any difference? TIA

It may sway slightly pink, but no magic bullet to be sure.

I know a few people with oops babies after vasectomy. ..they all had girls. Could just be a coincidence though.

ooh thanks for replies that's interesting :) I was wanting a girl but since feeling babys movements the last few days something in me has changed & have really bonded with baby no matter what gender :)

My Dad had his vasectomy reversed...like 35 years ago, and he and my stepmother ended up with 3 girls - one set of twins! No boys...

Thanks so much for replies. It was within the 16 weeks after so not uncommon apparently? & probably from sperm still in tubes, protection was used except one oops 8 days after a period! so still shocked as hubby is 38 & im 34 & it took us 3 months to get pregnant with my second son when we were 25 & 29 :)

I do know of a couple people who got boys after reversals - there are still X and Y sperm in there!

I THINK IT COULD GO EITHER WAY I HAVE SEEN BOTH HAPPEN. I SUPPOSE IT DEPENDS ON HOW LONG AFTER BIG V IS DONE AS GIRLS DO LIVE "LONGER" THAN BOYS

X sperm actually don't live longer than Y sperm, that was an old idea that has been debunked with newer technology.
