Hey ladies,
I haven't checked in a while... Just wondered how everyone else copes with the dreaded appearance of the witch every month. I am turning into a psycho and for the last two cycles especially have been utterly convinced I have conceived for the full 2ww, only to be seriously deflated each time af shows. This is the fourth time since a mmc in May and dh is getting annoyed at my mood swings now. I wish I could just chill but the longer it takes the harder it gets!!! Ican almost hear time ticking! Well if nothing else I feel better for the rant.

I am so sorry. I don't have much advice, but just wanted to give you hugs. I am so sorry about your mmc.

I'm so sorry! This is only my first month TTC after a loss and I'm already fed up so I can imagine how you are feeling. You are a strong person for keeping this up month after month! My strategy for coping is a nice bottle of red and my favorite food (pizza).

Pinkmeup I hear you! I too started going a bit mad!!! Ttc since Jan on diet since Jan got my BFP beg. August after 4 cycles and having to skip 2 (DH was ill) I too suffered through ttc as both boys conceived first time! I found staying off GD in 2 weeks leading up to attempt helped. Keeping busy, cheating on food and shopping when I got BFN. Its really really hard hope this is your month and its a sticky baby XXX

Tell me everything you're doing and I can tell you what to tweak.

Thanks! Yes it's true, and the chocolate binge... All of which are followed by guilt and getting back on the LE wagon!! It's good to chat and know you are not alone tho x

Thanks Kitkat! Yes, retail therapy helps a little it's true, as do my awesome boys. Trying to be thankful for all that I have and to stop obsessing. FX not long now. Congrats to you. Xxx

Hey atomic,
Thanks for offering to help... Last month was first I ditched the one attempt at pos opk and just dtd as much as poss! Dh had released few times before first attempt and wore tight whites and had hot showers. I am skipping brekkie and on slightly relaxed but completely Veggi LE. Taking lots of folic, chitosan/fibre, some cinnamon and a fair amount of aspartame in yogurt, drinks and gum. Have gone couch potato apart from The odd yoga session. I try to avoid stress, paint my nails (pink Obvs), but do feel stressed/anxious every 2ww. I think I already know I just need to try and forget it and let nature take its course, but that is also easier said than done...! I am slightly concerned that I keep getting pregnant but that for some reason it doesn't work out as I have had soooo many symptoms, including tasting metal this cycle and being six days late last.
I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks x

Well, just giving it to you straight here, that is exactly WRONG thing to do.
Drop release before attempt. Drop tighty whiteys and hot showers.
Keep one attempt until you have dropped everything else.
If you are wanting to up odds of conception, instead of doing the one attempt at pos OPK, you can switch to DTD unprotected every 4 days throughout the cycle instead. This will still be one attempt but this ensures you are not missing your fertile window if you have bad luck with OPK.

Keep the one attempt! I got ds2 on a strict crash and burn LE diet, crazy FR and all the jellies and antihistamines but we DTD through O and my personal experience plus the stats on this site is that multiple attempts sway blue big time!!

Ok, well thanks! Hopefully there's a reason it didn't work out last month then.... I will change tactics again and revert to one attempt. Dh will not be happy as I always know exactly when I ov. Guess that is a good thing though :-)
