I am not trying to conceive right now but I am tracking my O so I can know what day I O in the future. I took an OPK on the 25th and it looked negative, my temp was 97.55, I had some cramping and very very little sticky/stretchy CM, then on the 26th I got another negative with a temp of 97.55 again, with watery CM with some sticky/stretchy CM in it, the watery CM was a lot but the sticky CM was very little, that was at 12:30 AM and I had more watery CM with sticky/stretchy CM in it at 10:30am and had cramps all day. On the 27th I got a +OPK at 10:30AM, with a temp of 97.09 along with period like cramps but I was completely dry with NO CM at all!!

So im really confused as to why I got a +OPK with no CM? Im swaying for a boy.
Any insight or suggestions? Thank you The attachment below is my OPKs from the month of August and this month.

Don't bother tracking your ovulation. It is meaningless because you can (and most of us DO) see changes in O day when we sway. CM patterns NEVER stay consistent from month to month, esp when swaying is involved. Since you're swaying blue it's ok if you want to goof around with it but I just wouldn't take it too seriously.

You cannot pinpoint day/time of ovulation from OPK. It just doesn't work that way. EVen with temping and CM, it's not possible to do.

It is TOTALLY normal to have little to no EWCM on O day. Your body's fertile window is open for a few days prior to that and it's normal for there to be a big burst of EWCM earlier on that dries up around O day. You're designed to get pg from sperm living in the reproductive tract BEFORE the egg pops. I am assuming you are so concerned about this because you're trying to do Shettles timing for a boy, which has been totally debunked. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/7691-trouble-timing.html You will really undermine your sway by having only one attempt on O day - we are getting 70% PINK with one attempt and 80% for blue with more than one attempt in the fertile window. I beg you, don't stick to the old outdated Shettles for a boy - it really doesn't work.

A positive OPK doesn't really tell you that you have or have not ovulated yet. You will tend to ovulate 24-36 hours after that FIRST positive, no matter how long the sticks stay pos for. Sometimes it just takes your body a little longer to clear the LH than normal and so the tests keep coming up positive.

I agree with sweetdream, all those tests are positives. Go off the FIRST positive you have and try to be in with 3-5 attempts at or around that. So that night, the next morning, again the next night are ideal, and then if the tests stay pos for a few days you can have one attempt per day till they go neg
