Hi, last time I swayed (dropped the sway after experiencing secondary infertility and had my second girl from IUI and clomid. Praying the infertility was a freak thing) I gained more weight than I wanted to regardless of that fact that I ate very clean. I plan on lifting weights but would like to incorporate some cardio. I'm normally a runner but that doesn't seem to be super boy friendly. My plan is to do weights 3 times a week and cardio 2 plus some light weights on my off days. I really like videos because I workout at home and don't want to make my own stuff up. Anyone have any ideas for boy friendly videos?

I would try a crossfit or P90X type workout. You want short, super intense, with lots of weights.
I got my second boy crossfitting and eating paleo. I tend to think these two things plus probiotics make a pretty great blue sway. Good luck!

I would say anything with plyometrics, helps burn fat and build muscle at the same time

Tae bo is very boy friendly! I got 2 boys after doing Tae bo for many years and Shelly (Billy's daughter who is in his videos with him) also has all boys.
I think anything that involves kicking/punching actions helps sway blue. Your body doesn't know you're just doing exercise!

I do kettle bell workout videos. They are short, simple, intense, weight bearing fantastic workouts.

:agree: I just did my first kettlebell workout yesterday and it was a great full body workout and it was less than 30 min. long - good for blue
It was a Jillian Michaels one.

What weight kettlebell are you guys using? I'm using an 8kg one which I think may be too light?

I started with 10lb but that has gotten too easy. I use a 15Lb bell now. Sarah Lurie says the weight should be a challenge for you to get maximum effects. She uses a 25 lb weight....but she is a professional body builder so I doubt I will ever use a bell that heavy.

See I go lighter than that (8lbs) because I think some of the moves might be rough on the joints (and I am 105 years old LOL)

I am starting out from not exercising post partum...I am hoping to start that just getting moving on the elliptical will help me build muscle before I start a bigger workout.

It will build muscle when eating a blue friendly diet.
