Hi All,

I do ovulate and can tell from the ewcm but I always doubt if its O time before it is because I usually have cm of some kind... but opk's never show positive for me. Is this common? Why is this?

Does anyone know where I can read the 101 on using a OPK?

Thank you!

What brand OPK have you tried, what time of days have you tested, what CDs did you test on? I don't get positive OPKs but do indeed O, however, in the US where I could buy good brands of OPKs I got dark lines that were almost positive. Here in Europe I can't find any good brands, I've tried 6 different ones they give me very faint lines only.

Also, in my experience CM isn't very reliable for determining when and if you are Oing. But if you get regular periods you are probably Oing.

I have my OPK book for sale here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/payments.php

I agree with Maiden, it's not always possible to pinpoint O based on EWCM (you can get it days in advance and then it dries up at O, and also can have it for days afterwards) but if you are getting AF regularly, you are almost certainly ovulating.

If you never get a pos OPK you can use the every 4 day method instead.
