My plan was to start changing my diet in July (quit meat and vitamins) and officially start following LE diet in September with supplements for DH and me. I would then start TTC with my next cycle in October, with at least 6 weeks on the LE diet. DH foiled my plans in July and I got pregnant before I had a chance to make any significant changes.

Here (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/320f16) are my charts (top one is from this attempt, second one is from when my second son was conceived)

Still I wanted to add in a TL;DR summary of what I think really helped (what was different in my life from when I conceived boys).

Significant Changes:
Working 3 12-hour nights a week at a strenuous/stressful job
Eating and sleeping at inconsistent times/frequently changing sleep and meal schedule
Hanging high-dose chemotherapy although protective precautions were used
Benadryl to help sleep may have dried up CM
No orgasm with sex
No vitamins or supplements (was taking multivitamin, D3, and B6 when I conceived my boys)

Did you follow a diet plan?
Yes
If yes to diet, which one did you most follow? Other

Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
Stopped eating meat 3 weeks before conception. Did not get a chance to make any other significant changes. I have a pretty unhealthy high-sodium diet (lots of frozen meals on the go). Not a lot of fruits or vegetables. Mostly carbs and fat. Did not eat a lot of meat even before quitting meat. Usually ate one egg a day. About an ounce, sometimes more, of 70% Lindt chocolate/day. I like sweets. I don't think my diet was very girl-friendly. I was planning to start the LE diet in September and start TTC in October.
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
3 weeks
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
No
Did DH change his diet with you?
No
Comments regarding DH's diet-
DH made no diet changes. Diet was similar to his diet when we conceived our boys. Used to be a light cigarette smoker with previous conceptions. Now uses e-cigarette but still a light smoker. Has 1-3 drinks/night about 3-4 times a week. Drinks a little less than he used to. He is a firefighter so is sometimes exposed to heat/smoke and has a high-stress job, but was also working the same job when we conceived our boys.
DId you consume alcohol? A couple of drinks per week

DId you try to limit caffeine?
No, I did not factor that into my sway
Any Diet Details?
Work 3 nights a week, so eating schedule is varied/inconsistent. Usually only drink a few times a month at most, although drink at least 3-5 drinks when I do drink.
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
I work as a nurse three 12-hour shifts a week, from 6:45pm-7:15am. I switch my schedule from nights to days often. I will try to work 2-3 nights in a row then switch back to a day (normal) schedule. Then I usually have 2-4 nights off in a row, where I follow a normal day schedule.

On the day of my first shift, I usually get up at 6am, eat a small breakfast, normal lunch, 1-3 hour nap, then have an early dinner (4 or 5pm). If I'm lucky, I'll have time for a small snack and Coke at 10 or 11pm at work. Often would start shaking (possible hypoglycemia) around 8 or 9pm. I would then eat a frozen meal (full of sodium) usually around 1 or 2 am. Small snack (usually apple sauce) around 6am, sometimes do not have a snack if I'm busy. Sometimes I would snack more often at work.

I would come home and eat meal at 8am. Sometimes skipped this meal and went directly to bed. Would then wake up and usually eat at 4pm before work if I was working the next night in a row then follow the night eating schedule above.

If I was off the subsequent night, I would usually get up early and maybe have a snack. I would then eat dinner at about 6pm.

I followed a pretty regular meal schedule on off days. Maybe one snack in between lunch and dinner. Usually a very light breakfast.

As for sleeping, I will nap almost every day if not working. If I worked night before, I try to sleep 5-7 hours during the day. If I am not working the following night after my shift, I will only sleep 4-5 hours during day then attempt to go to bed by midnight that night to switch myself back to a day schedule.

I know my meal schedule and sleep schedule are confusing and bad for my health, but I think the inconsistencies helped sway girl. I did not work nights when I conceived my sons. My schedule is brutal (not really a night owl) and I would not recommend it unless you have to work nights! Some night shift workers prefer to stay on a night schedule all the time and this is better for your health. I have small children so I have to switch back to a day schedule for their sake.
WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
same - BMI 19.8. 5'9" about 133-135 lbs. Weighed less when conceived my sons (125 lb and 130 lb)
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?
Did not exercise except lots of walking/standing at work 3 nights a week. Mostly a couch potato otherwise besides light housework. It is very hot here in the summer so barely went outside.
THINGS in VG and CONCEPTION DATE(CD) INFO
pH Before Starting a Sway Program, if known
-
Any VG potions used? NO

CM pH at attempt
-
DH pH
-
How many BD attempts did you make for the BFP cycle?
1
BD Dates according to Ovulation 3 Days Before O

Any additional comments?
May have ovulated a day or two sooner, feel temp rise may be delayed or baby implanted early. Baby was measuring a few days ahead on first ultrasound. My boys' measurements always matched O date exactly. Also had early BFP (10 DPO), with previous pregnancy was not getting BFP until 12DPO.

Ovulation date was a little earlier than usual this month (CD 15 versus CD 17-18).
THE DEED INFO
DH Info about Swimmers
-
BD Position
Doggy style
Did you Jump and Dump? Yes

Any relevant attempt details?
DH was supposed to pull out and decided not to. Was not TTC that month. Immediately got into hot shower and tried to jump and dump. Did not have orgasm (unusual).
SUPPLEMENTS USED
DW Supplements folic acid
Antihistamine

DH Supplements
-
Any additional supplement info?
Quit taking all vitamins/supplements except folic acid about a month before conception. Was taking 50mg Benadryl a few nights the week of conception to help sleep. Believe this helped dry up my CM. Had purchased supplements for myself and DH but did not get a chance to start them.
Did you do anything with Ions?
No
Moon Phase during conception?
Waning Crescent
Did you use any Old Wives Tales?
No
Things that make me feel great about my sway:
I believe working nights with a stressful job helped sway girl. Job also involves sometimes giving high-dose chemotherapy although protective precautions are used. We do not mix chemo ourselves.
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
Had only changed a few things before getting pregnant. Was not trying to conceive that month.
Things worth mentioning:
Tech 95% sure girl at 14 weeks (see post (http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultrasound-gender-prediction/45744-14-week-potty-shot-update-12-4-nub.html)). I think it looks very promising. Still a girl at my anatomy scan too!

Final update: My baby girl was born extremely premature at only 24 weeks of age due to a placental abruption. She is perfect and fighting for her life in the NICU.

Thanks ladies! I will hopefully find out for sure at my anatomy scan in 10 days. I will update. Sorry my sway isn't very practical. Staying up all night is not worth it unless you're getting paid well.

So my baby girl came at a very high price. She is a 24 weeker who has been in the NICU nearly 4 months and should be coming home in the next week or two. She is amazing. I used to say there was something special about baby boys, but now I feel the same way if not more about baby girls. Thanks GD!
