Hi ladies,

I had DD in February 2014 and will start TTC again when she is a year old.

I had severe complications after I delivered her, a massive hemorrhage delivering the placenta. I almost died and they rolled me into surgery for a hysterectomy to stop the bleeding. My OB said literally 60 seconds from when she was going to start the surgery my uterus finally started contracting so I just had a D&C instead of hysterectomy. They don't know why I had these problems and said it will very possibly happen again and end in hysterectomy.

I had dreams of a big family and lots of little boys and girls. Now that we know this may be my last and only chance, it makes me want to sway boy so that we will at least have one of each. If I have another girl that would be great, any healthy outcome for myself and the baby will be wonderful. But I'd love to give DH a son because he's a manly man and wants someone to watch football with some day. :)

I need to get started making a plan and looking into everything. I can say for DD I was (as I always do) eating a lot of dairy. I didn't know it sways girl...that'll be hard for me to cut out but I'll do it!

Welcome and best of luck with your blue sway. You are in the right place :)
You won't need to cut dairy for your sway, here we believe that nutrients sway blue so we don't cut them out. A healthy diet with balanced protein and carbs for every meal and snack. 9-11 servings of fruit and vegetables a day. Vitamins, supps etc.

All the information you need is in the Trying To conceive a Boy Forum

We are also going to be swaying blue in 2015 :)

Welcome and good luck!
We are also starting to TTC in January 2015!!
About calcium, as far as I'm concerned, I haven't drank even a glass of milk since I was 17 maybe and don't like dairy nor yogurt...
This was the strongest reason I didn't buy into the IG diet (also the 1 BD on ovulation they suggest for TTC boy, cause I have 2 girls this way ).

HI and welcome! I'm not at all sure dairy sways pink and I got 4 boys eating tons of it and my girl eating none. We are getting great results with full fat dairy for blue!
