View Full Version : Quick conception, does it sway?

I wasn't sure where to post this...I hope it's not a stupid question!

I recently got a BFP after one attempt to conceive (swaying pink), and I am worried as swaying pink is supposed to make it harder to conceive.... Does anyone here have a girl after one or two attempts?

It took us 12months to conceive our DS so this super quick BFP was a big surprise!!

Yes, many people have gotten girls first month out. As a general rule I think it tends to take a bit longer to conceive girls, but it's not necessarily because it sways, but because pink swayers often do so much crapola at first that they then have to drop.

I do like to see blue swayers get preggo right away (as a good sign for blue) but that DOESN'T mean that it is a bad sign for pink to get pregnant first month or two! ONe of those things where the rulez aren't the same for pink/blue swayers.

Oh forgot to mention my mom has conceived 3 girls on first time attempt and one girl after trying for a year! It's crazy how things can change, as the one that took a year to conceive was her third child and then her fourth was like a succes on the first month again lol.

Btw true blue, I LOVE your avatar!

I love your replies, thanks, :D

Atomic, yes that's the reason I was worrying about my sway, I didn't expect to conceive so quick as I know it tends to take longer...!

Both DS's one attempt BUT very HE diet/lifestyle and I was younger. Took 4 cycles to conceive this one, we find out gender in three weeks!
I have seen lots of ladies hear pink on here conceiving first time and its usually a stronger sway as you have not started dropping tactics to get pregnant X

My boy and girl were first time. I also worried about it being so quick but I did feel I was in quite a girl friendly month as was swaying hard just before x

Thank you for asking this question! And for all of your replies ladies :) My boys were both conceived the 1st month trying to get pregnant and this time around i got pregnant my second month swaying. I keep thinking that it has to be another boy if it happened so quickly again...

That isn't the case and I've seen tons of people get girls first month swaying.

Really happy to read this! My ds took 11 months to conceive. I'm pregnant with mysecond baby but we aren't finding out the gender. However I really want a girl and weconceived the first month of not preventing. Which has been worrying me that I may be having another boy! Xx

Thank you ladies for the posts. I was wondering the same thing. I am in shock as I did a kitchen sink sway. And was planning to drop sway tactics as the months progressed. Going to be a long wait till gender confirmation?

At least you know you did everything you could! That's nice to not have to wait for your BFP - Im too impatient to try the kitchen sink (since there is higher chance of bfn) lol.
