Tarasue don't give up. I was laughing this morning because it took me so long to get my +opk. I got my first + on Saturday CD 22 and today Tuesday my cbfm decided to give me my eggy lol. Hi ladies. I thought I might as well join now. I am on CD 12. The past three cycles I have ovulated CD's 15, 17 and 16. So, O could be very close. Unfortunately we have discovered dh has high bp. This means dh shouldn't be taking the tablets to help him perform. He isn't keen on taking them so, goodness only knows whether we will get an attempt in this cycle. We've been ttc since April and only had 3 cycles when there has been a small chance of a bfp. I am feeling rather disheartened. Add to that all the supps and the diet, argh! I just want to be pregnant already!

Looks positive to me! Mine looked the same way and then went negative. Not sure if a negative means you missed the fertile period or not. I don't think it does but I am not sure.

Tarasue, yes, thats a positive and your attempt should be fine. You can do it every 4 days to increase chances. But I think you'll get negative from now on.

We had our attempt last night, positive test this morning...... Should we go again??? Tested again this afternoon and it's negative again. If I don't actually ovulate for 24-48 hours, I am worried we were too early. Very little cm yesterday or today, but lots of cramping last night and this morning.

My SIL had this symptom and her OB asked for a mastography (she was 35 at the time) and before doing it she did a blood pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant with her DD. She was waiting AF to arrive in 2 days and then waited some more months :giggle:

So I am CD 5 and am starting my opks early, since I had another AF come on CD17 a few days ago. I just got an almost positive this morning! This is crazy! AF just finished up. I will keep testing, but I sure am glad I have an appointment to see what is going on with my hormones!

Hi Ladies, Jumping back in ....again. This is cycle #8 of ttc for us. getting sick of it.

Yogi and tarasue I am on CD25 so we are close!!

tarasue~ I swayed for my last baby and got the girl I was hoping for....and my best advice to you is keep DTD!!!! Lowering the sperm count to have more xx spermies in there is way more important than timing! FR is what got me my 2 girls. We dtd every 3-4 days for all of the boys. Just my suggestion. :)


I think I am 5dpo today, might be 7 but not 100% sure. Hoping for a bfp this cycle or I might have to hold off until after the holidays.

We DTD LOTS when I conceived both of my boys so I don't think that it sways pink. The results from this forum don't support it either- more girls are resulting from one attempt, not multiple attempts.

So I have a story about that too. My SIL, again, when pregnant with her DS had bleeding-she thought it was her menses-until about 10w pregnant..
She never thought she would be pregnant but then the bleeding stopped and when she tested she was already 13 weeks pregnant!!!

Welcome back fivebabies! When will everyone start testing. I have great will power when it comes to the eating and exercising, no willpower when it comes to peeing on a stick:/. I will probably start testing 7dpo. I know it's way early.

I know that everyone is different. I was just sharing my experience. When we conceived our last DD we dtd 3x a day for 2 days and then 2x the 3rd day with a one day cut off. DH was a happy boy. ;) I'm not saying it'll work for everyone. I just know that that was the one thing that we did differently when we conceived girls. We dtd once every 3-4 days for our boys.

No swaying this time! I don't care what kind of baby I get! But we WILL be dtd lots and lots and lots starting 5 days before O and continue on through 1 dpo. That's what we did this cycle. Not a bad way to spend our time. :)

I swayed with both my boys, super strict kitchen sink sways. One IG and one GD. This time I got a plan from atomic (amazing!) and am trying to be chill and laid back about it. I call it my KISS sway ( keep it simple stupid) I've been doing since July :
1. Diet: PCOS LE, no breakfast or snacking, plus alcohol
2. Clomid (only supp besides folic acid)
3. Extreme cardio
4. One attempt

Last month I had very very little cm, then right after we DTD I jumped, dumped (semen emitting technique) and wiped but got a bfn--no sperm left to get to the egg! So this month after we DTD I just fell asleep!

Carmella Marie~ I am thinking about asking my Dr about starting some clomid if I don't conceive by the first of the year. I've never had trouble getting pregnant before (1-2 cycles max) but this is our EIGHT cycle! Do you mind if I ask: are you taking it because you've had trouble conceiving? or are there other uses? I'm not incredibly old and feel ovulation each month but I'm starting to wonder..... I really hope your plan works for you!!! I think that the relaxed approach is the best. :) FX for you!

I'm taking it strictly for swaying. I'm only 28 and got pg first try with both boys. My midwife gave it to me because I have long cycles (44-60 days) so I just asked her for some to speed conception along and she agreed (we have a long relationship) it's pretty hard to get I hear.

Ladies I'm 7 dpo today so the temptation to test has started, although I'm really trying to hold out until Friday (11 dpo). I don't have any FRER so I'm trying to avoid ordering them from Amazon until tomorrow so I won't have them!

DH and I have made the firm decision not to attempt next month. I have about 50 reasons (huge family trip I'd miss next July, tons of holiday parties, really don't want an August baby, etc). I'm keeping up the exercise through the holidays about going off strict LE. I started eating more normally this week and it's so amazing! I forgot how nice it is not to be paranoid and freaked out that every bite will affect your family forever. I haven't decided when I will start up LE before our attempt in January, but I need at least a few weeks off because the stress of following a strict diet was driving me insane.

I'm not super hopeful for this cycle because I have zero symptoms and I'm 7 dpo, although I had zero symptoms for my loss pg and for my son's pg, so who knows. GL to everyone still waiting to attempt/test! May November be the month for all of us!

Cris, yes, I'm currently day 14 and went to doctor yesterday. Looks like the folicle is 14.6 size. Still 2-3 days until I O. I got also negative tests at OPK and the pains have not arrived (I usually have terrible pains).
I'm planning for a harmony test but my doctor is verrry good in telling gender at 10-12 weeks so if I can do the test at around 7-8 weeks, yes, if I cant do it until 10-11 week, then it makes no sense to pay that amount of money. Of course, this test is good for all the other details regarding down sindrome etc so it's good either way. Will decide with my hubby at the given moment 😊

Well ladies, I am hesitant to say that I will be joining you all in the 2ww. I had an ultrasound today, and I have a dominant follicle that is 2cm. They estimate I will O in the next 24 hours. We had an attempt 2 days ago and will have another attempt tomorrow morning-- to cover our bases.

I am cautiously optimistic, since my cycles are so wacky. We will see. It is hard to not get my hopes up, but after 5 cycles and counting...sigh

Yes, 6 dpo is definitely too early. But, if it gets the POAS urge out of your system for a short time, might as well. Generally implantation doesn't occur till 6-9 dpo even then, it's usually another two days till there is enough HCG in your system to get a bfp. Good luck :D

I am 11-12 dpo and I couldn't resist doing another test this am...another BFN. I have not exercised in 3 days because I am just so tired and sick to death of it! Still managing to stick to the diet (plus a few Halloween treats!) but overall I am thinking I can't possibly do this for another month! 😞

I am really just pissed that I have to do any of this while everyone else I know did nothing and got a girl anyway! So angry, defeated, drained, pitiful, and just sad.

I have a cousin who has 5 girls, he wanted a boy so bad he wasn't even there when the last two were born. He is the A-Hole if the family, and shouldn't even be a parent in my opinion.. But regardless, i understand how your feeling. Give it a couple more days and hopefully you get the pretty pink Bfp:)

I'm so confused. I'm cd 30 and I've been brown spotting since thurs (10dpo) and a tiny bit of pink today. Today would be 12dpo but day 30 (I usually have 28-30 day cycles) Took a first response early result today and I see a second line. Took a digital and its neg. am I preg? Linz, just change your AF day. Tell the doctor(in case it is really a positive result) a later 2 days last AF and then, at work, you can tell them you found second day after you start working...These things happend so dont panic! Relax!
Womens usually find out they are pregnant after 5-6 weeks..so you are just 10 days...Just act normally.

Tarasue, I'm not there to tell you and as far as I remember with my first baby I had absolutelly 0 symptoms until 6 weeks(of gestation).
I read that pink/brown spots can appear or not. I personally did not had them with my first baby.

I had cramping and still do tarasue. At 9dpo I had a tiny amount of bleeding, something that could go unnoticed if you weren't looking after wiping. Cramping is common in early pregnancy and if it's isn't accompanied by bleeding period like in nature, you very well could be prego!

I am 10/11dpo, negative on frer test...... I swear I see a hint of a line, but it's probably me just trying to stay optimistic and seeing what I want to:/. I think you are pregnant Tarasue!! I say test with the FRER Friday with fmu. I remember feeling down with DS2, because I was so crampy, tired, and moody. It turned out I was pregnant!

I am so exhausted! Even after getting a full night sleep I am so tired that it's hard to function. If I'm not pregnant I am worried what is wrong with me? I'm also loosing hair by the handfull.... I'm wondering if the Metamucil/chitiosan tablets I take before my meals are absorbing too many nutrients causing hair loss. Anyone else experiencing this?

Exhaustion plus hairlosss could be hypothyroidism. Those were two of my main symptoms. My TSH always came back normal so they finally checked my free t3 and free t4 and they were dangerously low. I'm doing great now on naturethroid.

Bfn here at 12 dpo on a wondfo. But temp went up today so I'm not sure I'm out just yet. Maybe the wondfo just isn't sensitive enough? If no AF and no wondfo bfp tomorrow in going to buy a FRER or clear blue tomorrow.

My TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) was always normal. Your TSH controls how much free t4 and free t3 is in your body. The free t's affect everything from basal body temperature to weight gain to hair loss to digestion to skin and hair health. I'd Google the symptoms of hypothyroidism and see if you have any others, then make sure your doc does a FULL thyroid panel, not just TSH. My new doc suspected hypothyroidism on my low body temp alone! Many doctors aren't well trained in rhyroid and it took me a while to find a good one.

Aww im so sorry to have you all in suspense ladies.Nothing exciting for me to report. I think I may have had a anovulatory cycle this month or my body has been trying to ovulate but isint able to. I have been testing but decided to hold off on my frers. I am tempted to test twice a day but I know its not going to do me any good. I have been doing cheapys but nothing on them other than the random evaps. Frers are negative up till this past monday. I just ordered some early pregnancy test.com dip strip hpts. I need to pee on something so those will have to do so I won't keep using my frers. I will give it about 1 more week before for a frer. I keep trying to remember if I had any symptoms with my girls and I recall that with most I did not have booby pains and I didint know I was preggo until morning sickness kicked in so I want to stop symptom spotting for now. Damn ewcm is still here so I really just don't know whats going on. I honestly just want af to arrive so I can have a fresh start. I am cd 41 and could be between 14 and 16 dpo today give or take. Well we got our first try in last night :D I couldn't believe we were really finally trying! Of course then I got an even darker OPK today but I just have to hope yesterday's timing was close enough. The boy mom in me wants to DTD today, tomorrow and Sunday just to be sure LOL, but I can handle a few more cycles of this I think.

It is SO strange for me not to be temping and doing all of that but I really want to do this differently then my boy pregnancies and that means no temping and no being able to know exactly when O is. Awe! Hang in there Tarasue! The same thing happened to me with Ds2, but I FELT pregnant. On a whim, I tested again at 18dpo and got a positive. Give it more time af will be late, because you Oed late. I am sending out positive vibes for you!

As for me, this stomach bug is BRUTAL. I have not gotten sick like this in years! I have finally kept down small sips of water. If I don't get a BFP this cycle, at least I have the decline in maternal condition in my favor for next month 😉

I got a negative yesterday morning with a wondfo and a FRER using FMU, then I used an answer brand at lunch and got a faint positive. Today, another negative with fmu and a wondfo. I know FMU is supposed to be best but I think for some people SMU is better and I know FRERs are like the gold standard, but I don't think they detect of the earliest. don't give up tara! i know frer is the gold standard, but honestly i think it's different for everyone. i'd get a couple different brands and test at different times during the day after holding urine for 4 hours like they advise for OPKs. good luck!

2boys- this is my first month of the bcp, so I don't really know what's up with my cycle? I took a ovulation test like a week ago just for the heck of it and it was positive again. I had thought I had O'd the week before then, but at this point I don't think I have even ovulated at all.

Carmella- so I will have to check out that site. My husband still thinks I'm pregnant because I am so tired and taking naps every afternoon, that's my give away in previous pregnancies.

Yogi, you and I are playing the same vicious game between mind and body, it stinks:/

MyByC- I tested this morning with a frer and windfo and they were both negative. I tested with a the dollar general recall test two days ago and got two faint positives. Tempted to go get another today and test again but dh said no more.... We will see:)

Belleboi- it's hard not to give up, at least for this month. What other tests do you recommend??

FRER is first response test I believe. I've always had luck with internet cheapies. Also agree with testing at different times after holding for a few hours.

I'm of course having more ewcm today so probably did not O yesterday and will today. Oh well. We are so busy tonight that it probably wouldn't have worked anyway but I hate having missed O! I was too impatient.

Is CM considered a symptom for pregnancy after O and before AF ?

I always had tons of creamy CM when pregnant with the boys but I'm guessing that is one of those pregnancy symptoms that is different for everyone.

I had gobs of CM with DS1 but none with DS2. I guess it depends on how early you get a positive or diet maybe.

I had tons of watery cm with ds1, don't remember what it was like with ds2. Again, one of those things that vary's with each pregnancy. I also had a lot of extra drool and the taste if pennies in my mouth before I got a positive test with ds1. Ds2, I was a tired, moody bitch(or as my husband says I hated everything and everyone!).

MyByC, I know I should hold off to avoid disappointment but I have a heap of cheap hpt's calling my name ;) Currently 10dpo. I didn't get my bfp with my youngest till 12 dpo though.

I used to get a lot of cm when pregnant MyByC.

I had quite a bit of creamy cm last night and egg white cm every now and then. I'm hoping it's a good sign.
