*SIGH* Ok...SO I miscarried approx a month ago. I kept reading first cycle after mc sways girl but wasnt really sure that the hubby would be home to try to make that happen. FF to today....hubs came home yesterday and we DTD before he left again for work. OF course today I am having the worst cramp/ovulation pains in the world. I took a test and it isn't positive but there is a double line. I was not really sure how or when my cycle would get back to normal but now I am nervous as all get out. THe month and a half I was off the diet worries me. I know there is a chance it won't catch this time...but in the mean time AHHHHHHHHH :nails: LoL

I was in the same boat as you...nervous that I didn't have a sway and I did get pregnant cycle after. Granted I had another loss but I had a strong strong feeling it was a girl...and since they suspect it was twins I bet at least one was! I really think the miscarriage sways a lot and the month off the diet isn't very long and still has lingering effects. I would say if you get pregnant your sway was pretty darn good!

Thank you Rosie for always having kind words to speak :) My temp went up from 97.2 to 97.75 this morning. I am not sure if that is a big enough jump to think I might have ovulated, but FF wont track it until I have a period. :/ I have gotten good at nervously waiting...so I will keep temping and see what comes of it.

So I actually got a true positive OPK this morning after having an almost positive 4 days ago then every day since having barely a line. I am just going to put it in Gods hands, hope the miscarriage sways for me, try to keep the nutrients low and DTD before hubby goes off to work tonight. :fingers:

Thank you...after talking to my husband he corrected my timing...he actually got home on Monday...so we DTD about 1030 that evening...so despite my positive OPK today I probably shouldnt attempt again until tomorrow right? Even thought that might be too late..?

If you last attempted Monday, I'd wait until Friday before you attempt again, and definitely no sooner. It does sound like you've Oed already considering that .5 degree temp jump, though without seeing your chart I can't say for sure. But even if you're convinced you Oed, I'd have that attempt 4 days after the earlier one just to cover your bases.

As for the rest, I very much agree with Rosie. I think you have an excellent shot at a girl this month. Fx for you!

I would have thought I ovulated too...except the temp jump was first thing before I Got out of bed this morning....then I went and took an OPK and it was blaringly positive (just ten minutes ago took one and it is, again, positive...its not going to be positive AFTER Ive ovulated right? I have had a confusing month lol

When was the last time you took an OPK before that blaring positive and how dark was the sefond line?

I took an OPK on Monday and it was not positive but close....then I wasnt able to test again until Wednesday evening and it was a light line...Thursday morning the line was darker than the control line and last nights OPK the lines were same color and this mornings is darker than the control line again...(but its the first positive that matters right?) my temp is still higher than normal this morning. Ive settled for being confused this month because after the miscarriage everything is off LoL FF wont chart for me because I didnt include a period...so temps were Monday 97 Tuesday 97.41 Wed 97.75 Thursday 97.69 Fri 97.67. I am usually around the 97.1-97.3 range

So you should totally attempt today then! I think your body was just gearing up before but didn't quite get there but if it is darker than the control it is definitely a positive opk!!

last BD was Monday evening around 1030 pm First super positive was yesterday morning...so I am probably too late, but I will DTD this afternoon just in case :) Just find it weird that my temp jumped and then I got a pos OPK...bodies do odd things, I guess also TMI but CM is creamy this morning like lotion sort of...I dont know what that means as I dont normally keep track of it?

1st OPK 7 am 2nd 230 pm (we ended up DTD around 1230...Do you think its too late?)

We ended up DTD yesterday afternoon to cover our bases (hopefully) however I am thinking I ended up ovulating yesterday as my temp jumped to 98.1 this morning What do you think? Here are the past few days temps...also...if we DTD yesterday and I also ovulated yesterday....was our attempt too late or is there a chance?

M 97
T 97.41
W 97.75
T 97.69
F 97.43
Todays was 98.10

I think one temp in isolation means...nothing. The reason why we look at the overall patterns of temps is because it is totally likely to have one or even two oddball temps that are unrelated to hormones and it's only by looking at the pattern in retrospect that we can see what happened and when.

Same with CM - it's been shown in studies that it doesn't match to day of ovulation in the way that some sway sites claim. Totally normal for it to dry up 1-2 days before O, or keep going 1-2 days after O!

So, unsatisfying answer is that we don't know but it was good that you attempted anyway just to be on the safe side.
