Delayed ovulation and false surge

Apart from the obvious concern about egg quality, can these factors change chance of conceiving boy?
In last 14 days we are now up to 9 bd sessions. Had positive opk 3 days ago and made sure to bd every night. Smep plan suggests 3 times in row after positive opk, rest and bd again. Problem is my temp keeps dropping and no more positive opk. So it looks like another delayed ovulation month.

We have used preseed every time and our efforts were looking great. Instead another drop this morning instead of spike :(

I have been fairly relaxed about it. 3rd month actually charting temps and last month I ovulated on cd17. No BFP but at least it was almost "normal".
Now another delayed ovulation :(

:( a friend told me this happened to her when she was stressing on getting pregnant. As soon as she got it out of her mind and relaxed she ovulated. Is this a possibility??

What supplements are you taking? This is very common with boy swayers. I believe some of the supplements can delay 0

It looks like you geared up to O and didn't. I know how frustrating that can be. I had a temp spike this morning which I'm really excited about, but won't know for sure if I O'd for another couple days. Right now I'm getting dotted crosshairs on CD 34, but I don't really think that's going to be my O day...or at least I hope not, lol. Our attempts on CD 43-45 were much, much better. This entire charting thing is soooo stressful.

If you keep up every other day or occasionally eveyr 2, then that is still good shot of a boy. No more DTD daily unless you get a positive OPK, then you can do the 3 attempts again.

As long as you are in the fertile window when you have the next three attempts, it's all good. What you're doing is WAY different than the type of thing that might sway pink (7-10 days of release before first attempt that could possibly get you pregnatn), and BTW the daily release has not gotten good results for us anyway so even WITH the ddaily release we were getting barely better than 50-50 with that even with otherwise great sways.

This can actually happen and don't underestimae it! We aren't meant to know when we might ovulate and the stress of it might delay O (as can any sudden stress)

I am only taking folic acid and Vit D. Levels were low so GP put me on it, though we just came out of winter so that isn't too surprising.

I was following SMEP because for 2 cycles we were stopping too early. From what I understand it is best to have 3+ attempts in fertile time for a boy so that seemed to line up with that.
OPKs I am using now are digital and all negative. When I put in temps on FF it gave the O day as cd24 which isn't the guess I wanted. Seems best chance of pregnancy is 0-1 and that would be 4 days after my positive OPK.

At this stage we just need a break from bding so although I am checking with OPKs, we are just waiting to see what happens now.

I am still having difficulty with understanding TTC a boy but I am hoping the bding was at the right time.

SMEP is fine and will sway blue. My point was that you shouldn't continue to have sex day after day since you're prob. out of the fertile window. daily attempts IN the fertile window are fine.

That's ok switch back to every other or every two days to give him a break, then hit it again when real O is nigh.

Another temp spike this morning and FF guides think I ovulated on Friday. Only bd was that day so very poor effort. Esp for a boy :(
No fertile cm for 7 days so we were waiting for that. Instead I am on day 3 of high fertility, still no peak but rising temps.

I'm 7 DPO right now and I haven't had fertile CM in weeks. I mark watery or EWCM but to be honest I'm not sure if that's my own CF or a combination of preseed and semen, lol.

It's so hard pinpointing O. I finally got mine after a few false positive OPKs.

It looks like you may have O'd on CD28, like you said. Sorry that's not what you were planning for!

Ovulation looks like it was CD28 and yes one attempt is what the girl swayers are doing but you still have your other sway factors working for you and there have been boys conceived from one attempt so I wouldn't panic :)

Don't read too much into the pattern, remember, the pink swayers were not ever doing JUST one attempt, so in the stats where you see one attempt getting good results for pink, keep in mind that is one attempt PLUS diet, exercise, and other sway tactics. :)
