Hello if my toddler is 21 months at time of ttc is that enough healing time to conceive a boy? Or should I allow another 6 months or so on top of that, so 28 months old toddler? :D

I don't think it's necessary to wait that long lovebabies :) our baby will be 17months old when we start our attempts.

Aw really. Best of luck true blue :)

I ask because at time of ttc my first will be 3 years and 5 months and second will be 21 months and both were breastfed?

Hi lovebabies!
If you stict to the other sway factors I think 21 months, or even less, would be fine.
Best of luck.

Granted, I'm clearly a boy-friendly mama for some reason (personality wise I'm not, but lifestyle I am), but I concieved boys at 15mo and 13mo. My girl was concieved at 11mo PP. I'd think 21months, especially if your cycles have been back regularly for a while and your swaying factors are strong, would be totally fine spacing for a boy conception. Good luck!

Yes I'd think so as it's almost 2 years pp. :)

Thank you for all your helpful replies!

Longer is better but 21 months is enough. :) I have 2 boys 21 months apart so I know it can happen. (and since you'll be at TTC not actually having a baby, even better.)

I was going to wait 12 months after giving birth before ttc as I understand that's the minimum we should be waiting for blue sways.

I've actually done a bit of reading and it states that the body needs about a year to replenish all lost nutrients. And the ideal age to conceive a next child is about 18-23 pp.

Six months after pp and 5 year+ pp hold increased risks to baby's health such as being born prematurely or underweight.

So I believe it's ideal to conceive between 18-23 months pp

I hope our 17 months will suffice :)

Yes, keep in mind that there is no magic number, it's about your condition!!

I concieved ds 2 after 17 months. And 3 after 11 months. DD after 3 yrs and 4 months

I think swaying - lifestyle is more important then age gap.
