Looking for what others have done after a miscarriage, missed miscarriage, or blighted ovum.

What did you and dh pick back up and how quickly?

I am 9/10 weeks, no baby showed on ultrasound yesterday. Tech said sac was only measuring 6weeks 4days. I couldn't make out anything inside:( dr wants to wait a week and ultrasound again. She mentioned missed miscarriage and the tech mentioned blighted ovum. So I feel like I am just sitting around waiting to start a miscarriage. I am so frustrated.

Trying to get my head together. Please share what your sway looked like after your loss. Did you bd every 4 days after the bleeding from your miscarriage stopped? Did you wait until your first period came. I imagine opk's will be useless at first. What about LE and exercise?? And OLE and LR?

Thanks so much
Alicia:(

I stuck to the same sway tactics....LE/no exercise/vitex and folic...My mc took two weeks to complete...DH and I didnt BD for about a week or so....approx 3 weeks after all the bleeding stopped, I got positive OPKs (was previously getting negatives) and we DTD. Our doctor said she didnt see a reason to wait as my mc was a natural one with no D&C required. I have had a hard time sticking with the diet as hard core as I was, but atomic has repeatedly said that the mc effects would probably trump the diet cheats. I did take iron as well for a few weeks per atomics suggestion.

I'm gonna give you more specific advice in your forum Queen. Since you were only in your first month swaying the rules will be different for you than the average person.

Again, so sorry that things aren't looking real hopeful. for a miracle.

So sorry honey. I had the same experience two years ago. I got a BFP on the first month TTC and then 7 weeks later their was nothing growing in the sac, just an empty sac. Makes your heart sink.
Hang in there. We are thinking of you.

I'm so sorry for your loss! In my case my miscarriage was early (6w5d) and natural so we did start trying right away. My doctor saw me about a week after my m/c ended to confirm I was all clear and that's when we started DTD every 4 days. We ended up with bad timing (4 days prior to ovulation and ovulation day) and we ended up not conceiving the first month out. I started my exercise immediately and the diet as well. I ended up conceiving the cycle after my first AF. DH and I weren't doing LR before, and this is just my personal opinion, but it isn't something I'd use after a m/c. The only sway tactics we used are LE diet, exercise, OLE, and one attempt.

I would prefer people hold off on vitex, saw palmetto and pep tea till after they ovulate and get AF. It has delayed the return of the cycle for some people to take them before that first cycle after a loss.

I'm so sorry to hear this =(
Like you I am also going through a MC right now. Was my third cycle of trying after being on the diet on and off for 5 almost 6 months.
This is my first and it's incredibly painful emotionally. If you need to talk to someone please pm me.
Again I am so sorry xoxox
