Obviously, I have found the main reason I have all boys :) I have the HARDEST time skipping breakfast. If I make until 930 am I consider it a huge success.

Any tips for getting better at this? Or is there a snack I can safely have?

For me it's coffee! I haven't given up caffeine but I limit myself to 2 coffees a day and I have one when I wake up and another at about 10am. I take it with 3 sweeteners and skimmed milk. Sometimes I have lunch a little early at around 11.30 but often I make it to 12 or later. I thought it would be the hardest part but actually it's ok once you're used to it.

I could have written your post last week. I am a breakfast lover! I started slowly- ate breckie at 9:30 and then 10....now I can get away with a breakfast tea w/cream and sugar in the am and make it all the way to 11am before I eat my first meal. I have 3 smallish meals- meal 1 at 11am, meal 2 at 2-3 pm and meal 3 at around 6pm. I then have another tea at around 8-9pm. It seriously does get much easier after about 7 days of this. You can do it Mama!

I slowly pushed breakfast out, started 7mths ago... from 7am to now 11 or 12. I drink coffee at 7 and 9am and it helps.

I usually always eat breakfast at the moment (not swaying yet), but in the past I've frequently skipped it for example when I was at college. I found if I didn't eat anything first thing I didn't want anything, but if I did eat something I was hungry again sooner. I think your body sort-of gets used to it as well

I am really hoping it gets easier the longer I do this! You girls are giving me so much encouragement to stick with it!

I am also finding I'm having a hard time not snacking. I usually eat 6 meals a day (again, no wonder I have boys)....I just need to gut it out until my body gets used to it :)

I promise it gets easier very soon!!!!
I find sparkling water or sprite zero really help. I also have peppermint tea with 2 sweeteners whilst my boys have their breakfast and count this as mine!! Then just keep busy!! Gl!

I sometimes eat breakfast at 6 am and then breakfast part 2 at 10:30 lmao im going to start adding a half hour to my breakfast time until i get to 12:00. I think its all conditioning your body to do something new.

Drinks definitely help, especially fizzy ones!

THIS!!!

I hate skipping breakfast now but I used to do it all the time. I didn't miss it then, it was just what I did because I was too busy to eat in the morning.

I would try a combo of gradually easing into it while simultaneously finding something very important to do in the morning!

Keeping busy also helps with the constant snacking situation as well.

Me too! I'm like a Hobbitt - I have first breakfast, second breakfast, "Elevensies", etc.

I know it is tough but that is one thing that has been quite consistently diff. between boy and girl moms. Boy moms eat quite regularly while girl moms skip meals.
