Hi All, I have been TTC a girl for 6 months. My sway has included almost all of the recommendations for swaying pink. Aside from 1 early miscarriage, we have not been able to conceive in these 6 months (our 3 boys were all conceived on the very first try). My husband is starting to get frustrated and wanting to pull the plug on most of the sway-plan in hopes of conceiving ASAP. I'm wondering what would be the most essential sway factors to not concede on, and which are the ones that haven't proven to be quite as effective?
A little about our sway -
My supplements - aspirin, vitex, saw palmetto, folic Acid
His supplements - peppermint leaf capsules, cranberry, soy isoflavones
I am on the modified LE diet, because I am overweight and seem to be carb/glucose sensitive. I have - not really lost much weight on this diet, so I don't think that is contributing to not conceiving.
I am not exercising
Hubby abstains for 7 days before attempt
We only have one attempt after +OPK, using small amount of sulk as lube.
I take one long lasting antihistamine and use 1/2 tube of reephresh the morning of our attempt (at least 12 hours prior)
Any thoughts/advise/suggestions would be appreciated!

If it was me I would drop vitex, saw palmetto, peppermint leaf, antihistamine, abstain, refresh. It makes sense you aren't conceiving, all of those things can make it hard to conceive and don't really sway pink that much.

Thanks for your response bluebonnet!
I thought that either abstain or frequent release was one of the most important parts of a pink sway??

Abstain/FR isn't thought to sway that much (if at all) and can drastically reduce odds of pregnancy. Currently just having DH release every few days is working great for many people.

I think there is a lot you can drop and still have a strong sway. Atomic is no longer recommending aspirin so I would drop that for sure. I think Vitex be more of a hindrance then a help and I would probably drop that. I'm not sure about the things your husband is taking- I'll let the others chime in on that.
I would also drop abstaining and consider switching to every 4 days so there is no chance of completely missing the egg, I would stop using rephresh, and the antihistamine as well.
Personally in your position I would: Stay strict on diet, maybe do fiber before meals, BD every 4 days, take folic acid, and that's it! :)

I agree with the others.
I would drop everything except strict LE diet and one attempt. I would add fiber before meals, olive leaf extract for DH, and alcohol for you.

:agree: with all of this. If I had a time machine I would have had you start dropping things a few months ago.

We haven't gotten good results with it and moving away from using it becuase it really lowers odds of conception.
Three most importnat things to keep - Diet, exercise, one attempt.

Ok, so I'm going to keep the diet, one attempt, sylk, aspirin (having no issues w/it), folic acid, and I'll keep the vitex because it shortens my cycles (down to 28 days from 33).
I'll have DH keep the cranberry but drop the peppermint leaves and soy.
I'll drop the certirizine and rephresh and the week of abstain.
Look ok?

I would drop rephresh and sylk before dropping the other stuff. For me, as soon as I dropped those two things, I got pregnant.

I think that's a fine compromise. :agree:

I would drop the rephresh for sure. I think you staying on the Vitex is ok since you conceived once on it, even though you miscarried. If you had never conceived on 6 months of Vitex then I'd drop it, as some just can't conceive on Vitex. Many conceive the month after they stop taking it.
I think you on aspirin and DH on cranberry are both fine. But I'd buckle down on the diet, make sure you're not snacking and skip breakfast if you can, and keep overall cals and fat intake well within limits. I recommend you BD every 4 days at this point - some women respond ver quickly to their LH surges and O the same day of the first positive OPK. It has happened to me several times. So if you are only BDing then, it may be too late. Ideally you need to BD 1-2 days before O bc it can take up to 24 hours for sperm to capacitate and be capable of fertilization, plus an egg is only good for just few hours after O. It is crucial that the sperm are waiting inside you a few days BEFORE O.
