Feeling disheartened and quite down, I decided to have a break. Since our 7th BFN 3 weeks ago, I've been off the diet, eating what I fancy. I haven't gone mad, but guess I'll have been way over most LE limits. I haven't had breakfasts, but have had snacks. After loosing 35lb over the last 6 months, I've gained 3lb in the last few weeks.
Will the previous 6 months of diet still be swaying for us now, or should I skip this month and try to get back on track before TTC again?

Only you know what you'll regret and what you're okay with. Personally, I needed to be on point to feel okay with my attempt. I would skipt this month, enjoy the holidays, and make sure to get in AT LEAST another 8 weeks of LE diet and exercise before the next attempt. Having said that, I don't know your situation. If you're older and you're worried about egg quality, if there's some pressing need to have another kid now or never, if all this is wearing on your spouse (or YOU) and there will be some towel-throwing-in if doesn't happen soon, then maybe you shouldn't take a break.

Another thing to consider is your "big picture sway." What components, other than LE diet, are you including? Could jellies or other things be standing in the way of conception? Since they're much less effective than LE diet, I would drop those and try to redouble efforts on the diet. Do you have underlying fertility issues? Might it be time to talk to an OB about Clomid or Pregnitude (myoinositol, over the counter?)

Whatever you do, if pink is more important than just getting a baby quickly, don't give up LE diet, fiber supps and one attempt. I'd personally add in OLE for DH and exercise as prescribed for pink.

If you want to just continue, at the very least I'd cut out the snacking and keep the no-breakfast, the try your best to make 85% of your meals small and LE, while allowing cheats for holiday parties and the events where you'd feel deprived.

Good luck! I hope your journey ends with "it's a girl!"

I believe it still sways and once you've been going on that long not getting pregnant, I always think it is best to not skip months because you never know when Goldie the Golden Egg will show up.

But I do agree that if you feel it in your gut that you will have endless regret if you TTC and get an opposite (and please keep in mind that opposites DO happen even with people who do everything "perfect") then it may be better to skip it.

I wouldn't be too upset with a boy now. After TTC for a while I really want a baby, and would just like to sway my odds slightly. I'm hoping that losing weight and following LE for 6 months before the last few weeks will still give me a good shot at pink despite my recent break, and the increases won't sway strongly as improving condition. I needed to just relax for a while as I was feeling very down and stressed, and I feel better for it even though I'm annoyed that I've weakened my chances of pink.
We have dropped all other sway factors previously, meaning this month I haven't really swayed pink at all.
If you think the last few weeks won't have completely swayed blue for me then we won't skip the month because our age, patience, family factors mean there is urgency to conceive.
