Hi ladies I'm new but been reading this fourm for about 3 months now. I really want to have another daughter. My DD is 5 and really wants a baby sister.
I have 3 kiddos DS is 7 DD is 5 and DS is 11 months!
I am scared but can't not go on without atleast trying for another little girl.
I been doing some of the dieting and drinking a ton of crystal light and sometimes at night having peppermint tea. Something is working because, I use to have a ton of CM and now it is way less.
I think I am going to switch to baby Aspirn. I don't have any issues taking cranberry. I am 27 years old.
But what are my chances of have another DD. I didn't do anything different before, she was a complete surprise, but I do recall the day we DTD. It was 2 days before ovulation.
I have NEVER change my diet, I am a chocolate and cake kinda girl lol. I do eat a lot of chicken.
I read a site about chances of having another boy if you have two or more. I did have 3 losses which I think we girls. I swear I only had heartburn with my boys.
I believe in swaying but I also believe it's all about faith. So I am taking a chance to complete my family. Having another DD means so much to me, so glad their are ladies that feel the same as me.
Best of luck thank you! This site is the most amazing site! The info is just awesome

Welcome :). I think you have a good chance. If it were all about faith I'd have 3 daughters by now though lol.
Atomic doesn't recommended cranberry or aspirin anymore. It may not be safe. Could you do the exercise? That's getting great results :). Anyway good luck with TTC. When do you think you'll try?

I think you have a great shot at another daughter! I recommend doing the LE diet (not just any diet), vegetarian and strictly - diet is the most important factor. I'd also do cardio exercise 60+ minutes daily if possible as it sways strongly pink. I wouldn't take aspirin or cranberry, they don't seem to sway pink anyway. I'd definitely just BD once at positive OPK but otherwise don't worry about timing.
I highly recommend doing the diet + exercise for 3 full months before TTC so as to maximize your chances of pink. Welcome and good luck!

Thanks for such quick responses! I am really wanting to excerise! I think I am going to buy an excerise bike this week, plus try to take walks. Now that my 11 month old son is walking I hardly rest haha.
I forgot to add!
My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage so after I wanted to ttc, I drank a ton of green tea and I also did last year after my early miscarriage, and I concieved my son. I am now reading green tea sways boy. So maybe that had a little role.
I never felt this way before, but everywhere I go I see little girls siblings and it breaks my heart my daughter doesn't have this. I grew up with an older sister and younger. My DD does have my nieces though that are the same age and they are together all day. But, this feeling inside me will not go away.
i am thinking of cutting back rephresh, I used it now for two cycles and thinking I used too much, a whole applicator every 3 days.

I wouldn't worry about rephresh, in fact I'd drop it as we don't think it sways much if at all. As for green tea, it does seem to sway blue! But being young & fertile sways blue, too.

Hi Atomic! I been reading your blogs in here for 3 months and I love them! I never knew about swaying until this past summer, when I wanted to ttc and ended up being pregnant already but had a miscarriage, and feel like that baby was a boy.
My diet is my main concern. I don't eat breakfast just coffee and I use equal or sweet and low, I live off of crystal light, I do not like it but I read it helps. I am thinking of ditching rephresh I always got pregnant very fast and I am not falling pregnant with rephresh.
I usually cook at home for my kids, I cook both chicken pork and beef,
If I would eat beef is it okay? I rather eat chicken, but my family like all different meats. I am cutting chocolate out of my life.
Chocolate is my life and I am scared it will sway blue.
Also, i am not taking any prenatals I did while ttc my boys. So I am a total believer about that.
Thanks maidenmother! I been worrying about the rephresh.
This will be last child so I want to try my best for another daughter my husband is almost 39 and doesn't want to be over 40 having another child. So it's my last shot.

Best to go completely vegetarian. Red meat is one of those few foods that sways very strongly blue. As for chocolate , small amounts of white or milk chocolate are find for pink, but best to avoid dark chocolate.

I don't think I can go veggie, if I would eat red meat say I make steak, I honestly won't even eat it all, I rather eat chicken and rice lol. I was thinking even if I have to make dinner and just make myself something different. My DS who is 7 and my DH are the ones who eat my DD she is 5 and is the most pickiest eaters she will only eat certain type of chicken.
What about pork? I am ditching sweets until I become pregnant

You don't need to ditch sweets on the LE diet...

Yup sweets are fine. Way more important to be at least mostly veggie and avoid red meat. A few bites of pork/chicken/non-fatty fish once a week is fine, but it's not something I'd recommend you eat full servings of often.

Wow, I did not know that! Their is so much to learn for me, I will try my best to cut out meat, that is hard :(, just because I always have to have it in my house for my kids etc. I will try, I will do anything I can go have another DD, in not in no rush either, would like to concieve a girl soon though but I guess now the wait will be worth it by doing the diet,

Clarification - as long as you don't have PCOS, insulin resistance, or really really diminished egg quality, you can have sweets provided you stay within limits.
Swayers who DO have PCOS or even possibly PCO tendencies, insulin resistance (and even undiagnosed such as if you're more than 30 lbs overweight) or have abysmal egg quality are better off losing sweets and I have some alternate diets in this thread that can help http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html

What I did was just cook normal meals and then everyone had meat and I just stuck with the side dishes. (usually rice and veg or salad)

Going completely veg is best, if you can't manage that, I would stick with chicken, shellfish, and whitefleshed fish.
Chocolate is fine, milk and white choc are better than dark.

Yes sounds good! I sometimes do this, and will continue now more thanks!
I don't have any issues or pcos.
Thank you for your answers

I been using sweet and low should I switch to equal? Is there a difference

Yes, saccharin is carcinogenic. I'm not a fan of aspartame aka Equal, either, but it's not as toxic IMO. Personally I avoid both, I only use Stevia or Splenda.

I do not think sweeteners make much if ANY difference but I do have an essay here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/2038-sweetening-up-your-sway-pink-blue.html
