I need to lose a few kilos before i can start the HE diet and thus put weight back on. If after actively dieting and losing weight, should minimum of 6 weeks on boy sway plan, be suffient?!

I don't know the answer but I would love to hear what others have to say. I'm still losing baby weight :/

WE do not know that there's any benefit to weight gain in and of itself and I believe the yo-yo nature of this (sorry I knwo it's your username too LOL) is not going to help your blue sway any.
I think it is FAR better for you to try to stay steady where you're at now, eat more HE, and also exercise and just try to maintain your present weight.
6 weeks is enough for blue sway!!! No one should be on HE diet longer than 6 weeks before TTC unless they were really underweight to start

I'm in the same position as Quinn31... 'baby' weight is the issue. I'm just anticipating some weight gain on HE, not actively looking to gain!

If you're careful and exercise, you can eat HE Diet and not gain weight. It is possible. You just have to limit juices, breads, potatoes, and get your protein + carbs from leaner meats and fruit and veg. That's still an HE Diet, and if you do that when you're exercising (esp. lifting weights) you can hold steady at your present weight while losing body fat and gaining muscle. You'll look slimmer without losing any weight and you'll still be making yourself more boy friendly.
