I messaged atomic a while ago but hadn't heard back, and I know she's busy, so wanted to see if any of you ladies could help me while I wait!

I posted a bit ago with some questions about my future sway (not until later 2015). Just had some more specific questions.

My DH would like to start trying no later than August 2015, but we are going on a week-long vacation in June and I know my diet will be completely screwed up then, so that will only give me about 8-9 weeks to sway IF we got pregnant that first attempt. We've always gotten preggo first attempts but I'm sure this is going to be completely different!

Anyway... Diet. How bad is it to have a week of cheating? Does that completely reset your body? I was thinking of starting the diet in May. I don't want to have to worry about it while we're away and I feel that I'll only be more stressed if I do. But.... if it's going to be more effective to be on it for longer, we can wait to do our first attempt in September. I guess I'm just wondering if it really does matter?

Weight lifting... I do that now, and I know that sways boy. If our first attempt isn't until August/September, should I stop lifting now? Or should I wait until later next year to do that? I plan to do 50-60 mins of cardio the last 6 weeks of my sway.

Abstaining... is it best to have my DH abstain for the weeks leading up to our first attempt and then just do one attempt, or does that matter?

Oh.. and one more thing... I don't think my DH will do anything to sway except maybe take some antihistamines... think that will mess us up?

Thanks in advance for your help!! You all are a wealth of information! :)

One thing I can say is there is dietary cheating and then there is OMG WHAT DID YOU DO cheating lol. Our diet was interrupted a few times due to family events where I didn't/couldnt explain why I was not eating certain things etc. My nieces wedding was one of those OMG moments because dinner had to be ordered and it was served so no limitations except eating smaller portions to try to control it. I firmly believe diet is the answer (my own personal opinion) during that week make the better choices instead of the OMG ones and the longer you are on it before attempt the better at least thats what the sway stats sheets are leaning towards.

Hi Munky! I won't be very good at answering your questions, but I just wanted to say that I will be swaying later in 2015 also! Probably starting sept/Oct.

I personally think diet is the most important sway factor so I would definitely not cheat for a whole week. A day a few times a month is okay...a whole week, not so much.

I wouldn't worry about stopping weight lifting/starting any aspect of your pink sway until 12w before when you plan to attempt.

Thanks, all! We will probably just wait until September. Don't want to be on the diet for too long because I'm on the lower end of healthy weight... 5'4, 115 lb. Hopefully it won't take too terribly long to get preggo!

Munky you have a custom sway plan, right?? Anyone with a custom plan should post questions in the forum where their plan is posted and I do those questions every day. I get tons of PM's and can't give preferential treatment to custom swayers messaging me because it just gets lost in the shuffle.

Your diet will not be screwed up if you still have 8-9 weeks to go. I wouldn't even WORRY about it. I wouldn't start strict diet till after your vacation. If you want to, you can go vegetarian and start altering your fat intake as per this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/39013-skinny-fats-pink-blue.html whenever you're ready and then hit it hard when you come back from vacay (I'd feel fine eating meat on yoru trip)

don't drop weights till May at the earliest. You could even go till june/july if you wanted to. the muscle wastes away all too quickly (6 weeks)

"Best" sway is abstain + one attempt, but it hasn't gotten as good of results as we'd like to see. The important thing is keeping that one attempt. If you want to start off doing abstain + one attempt, that's fine, jsut drop the abstain BEFORe the one attempt.

Tons of us (myself included) got girls without our husbands doing anything to help.

I do not have a custom swaying plan but hope to get one closer to my TTC date :) Thanks so much for answering my questions!

So I should possibly start the vegetarian diet in May, then go hardcore after our vacay?

Can you explain the whole "drop the abstain before the one attempt"? I'm sure it's obvious, but I'm not totally understanding it. Thanks so so much for your help!!

atomic was just stressing the importance of one attempt. If you choose to drop one or the other (abstain vs one attempt) you should choose to not abstain first and stay with the one attempt. :)

Yes start vegetarian sooner, then strict up after vacation. You can take a break from veg diet during your vacation.

What may happen is that you don't get pg right away and you'll possibly need to drop sway tactics. I just want you to keep the one attempt as long as possilbe. Some people do things like keeping abstain, but having many attempts, and I don't want anyone to do that (because one attempt sways more reliably than abstain)
