Boy or girl guesses please? : ) 14 weeks pic [Archive]

Hey, very curious as to whether my bean is a boy or a girl! I've been recommended In-gender for good guesses so does anyone want to guess boy or girl from my latest scan pic, please? This was from a private scan done at 14 weeks. On the moving image/screen I definitely saw a 'spanner' shape thing/nub, which I've heard can indicate girl. It's sort of there in the pic just not as clear as I saw it on the screen. Opinions very welcome. Thanks very much.

Hmmm tricky one !
Skull is boyish , and the nub is girlish
But I see something pointing up Im not sure if its a nub or a part of the leg!

Thanks, business.woman. Tbh the skull looks different in every scan pic! Not sure how much I believe that theory as I've read differences aren't usually apparent until puberty, so a way off! As it looks a bit different in every pic, that also puts me off using it to predict. I can post another pic if you like but this is the only nub pic. Thanks again.

I don't have much experience , but I would say girly looking nub based on what I do know 😊.

I think the nub looks really girly... Especially for 14 weeks!

A few others have said similar, ejk741. If this was at 12 weeks I'd take it more with a pinch of salt but supposedly a lot happens around the 12-13 weeks point - including boy parts pointing up. We shall see!

Thanks. That's interesting as so many are saying girl! And I thought the nub would have risen by 14 weeks etc. I don't really mind to be honest. Been told it's healthy so far etc. so that's the main thing.

IF that is a fork then I say girl for sure. If that isn't a fork and its a spot above your flat line nub I say boy. Good luck!

Thanks both of you, much appreciated. Think the fork is definitely there in the pic, saw it clear as day on the screen too. Like a forked spanner shape. A lot of girl guesses from elsewhere. We shall see!

im looking at the dot above the flat line, thats what is making me lean boy, i think they call that stacking. But this is just a guess i am no expert.

Thanks. Although this is fairly clear it was even clearer on the screen at times, shame couldn't get an even better pic (am I being greedy now?! lol) Guesses seem to be about 80/20 in favour of girl now.

Haha thank you, tillytys! I logged back in and realised I'd never updated. Turns out motherhood is quite time consuming eh haha. She had a tricky start in life bless her as she had a rare and serious heart defect, which was picked up at seven months... after us going back and fourth to the doctors with her. She had two (very successful) heart surgeries as a baby and was really poorly at one point. But looking at her now, you'd never know. We're very lucky x
