I just joined this site today and hastily posted my twin nub shot in desperation to get some predictions. Please pardon my rude entry and let me introduce myself.
I have one son and two daughters and currently expecting twins. Have had 2 previous c-sections but still not ruling out a vbac. I'm also over 35 incase there are older mothers out there who also want to say hello.
If asked if I have a gender preference for my babies I'd have to say one of each.
Wish you all the best of luck in your pregnancies and childbirths. If you're trying to conceive, hope all your desires become reality.
Have a nice day.

HI and welcome! I'll check out your thread when I come across it.
I had my last two at 39 and 41! Best of luck with your twin pregnancy and hope you hear what you're hoping for.

Thanks all!
I'm 39 and have read that women my age and over are more likely to conceive twins. It's a backhanded blessing I guess!
Sorta like a "Going Out Of Business - Buy one, get one free!" deal.
I know, I know, 39 isn't that old but according to literature I'm no spring chicken (you know, eggwise).
Everytime I go for an antenatal checkup at the hospital I get asked if it was IVF.
I conceived these little beans naturally in a short window of opportunity when my boyfriend was visiting for 2 weeks as he currently lives abroad.
Twins do not run in my family. So I was floored at my dating scan when the tech told me.

My pg at 39 was actually twins and one of them was a vanishing twin.
Yep, we're not spring chickens to be sure, but honestly my pg at 41 was my easiest pg and birth of all! Wishing you a very happy healthy pregnancy!
