Back when I (accidentally) conceived DD some 7.5 yrs ago, I was allllll about the diet soda. Diet Cherry Coke specifically.
Early in my pregnancy I started having horrible pain in my knees. Docs never have been able to figure out what causes my knee pain, but *I* have noticed that any time I consume Aspartame they get a little achy, and if I consume quite a bit, another full on flare starts that leaves me unable to walk without crying.

So is there a good pink sway friendly alternative?
My fav low cal drinks right now are Crystal Light Pure & it's Walmart knockoff. Both have a small amount of real sugar, and Stevia. Is Stevia pink sway friendly?

I got my 4th boy using it and my girl without it and if you think it's affecting you negatively, listen to your body no matter what!

Stevia is said to be blue-friendly. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/2038-sweetening-up-your-sway-pink-blue.html

I personally have my doubts about aspartame and swaying anyway - I suspect that the reason why it appears to sway is because people who are using it a lot are on diets or drinking it instead of snacking. I have seen failed sway after failed sway where people were hitting it hard on the aspartame http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/44710-hypothetical-aspartame-thread.html

What about Splenda? Does it sway one way or another?

Ohmygosh the autoimmune thing! YES! I have a strong family history of autoimmune disorders, and personally suffer from Reynaud's of the nipple :P I also have a sneaking suspicion the knee thing is autoimmune related. That would make perfect sense. I never had any autoimmune issues until I was already pregnant with my DD. Like being pregnant the first time activated it or something. And since then, 2 boys.

On the "Sweetening up your sway" thread AS linked to it says Splenda, especially the Splenda with fiber, is a good choice for pink sways. Looks like that's prob what I'll be going with when I get closer to attempt time. RIght now I'm just sticking with smaller amounts of real sugar.

It is said to sway pink, not sure how effective any of this jazzola is but I have an essay on sweeteners and swaying http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/2038-sweetening-up-your-sway-pink-blue.html

I mentioned this in the essay I linked to but to explain to those who didn't click it, I have noticed (anecdotally/observationally) a lot of autoimmune disorders in the boy moms.

So further on the subject of me & aspartame... Hubby was DYING for McDonalds today... I got a Diet Coke. ANd am now regretting it because BOTH of my knees are aching now. *sigh* I REALLY should know better. I wish McD's had a diet friendly option with some OTHER sweetener.

I'm the same waana, even natural sugar like honey flares my immunes. Plus I can't have artificial sweetners because I get very anxious and heart pupitations, not sure which ones but I avoid them all as much as possible. I've decided for my sway to cut as much out as possible so my body isn't working overtime.

This is what Splenda does to me, makes me incredibly anxious and my heart races. Too much sugar also makes my heart race. I can tell even if I've eaten something that I didn't know had Splenda in it! Aspartame doesn't bother me at all otehr than causing headaches sometimes.

Frilly, I should know this but are you doing the alt. diet??? I would have you avoid much empty carbs if you react badly to sugar/honey.

No I'm not just LE. Should I change it up a bit? Sorry if this sounds dumb but what do empty carbs do to immunes?

They don't do anything to the immune system that I"m aware of, but if you are getting heart palpitations after eating sugar and honey, you are not going to be tolerating the empty carbs in the LE Diet very well either and may do better on one of the alt. diets in this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html
