Oh my I am so excited DH actually told me HE wants to try again! I thought I was going to have to twist his arm! I really am a lucky girl!
I am BF'ing my almost 6 month old DS & have no plans to stop till he is 1 year at the end of July. I am trying to decide when we should try. I think I am leaning towards May at the earliest but I am wondering would it be better to try & sway while bf'ing or wait till my son is no longer nursing at 1 year. This WILL be our last child, I plan on getting my tubes tied, so this is a last ditch all or nothing effort & I am going to want to go hardcore sway wise before attempt. I would love some opinions on whether or not to start to try while nursing. I also plan on purchasing a plan again & I am trying to decide when to do that depending on when we want to try.
In the meantime I am taking my fiber & losing weight with weight watchers & a very loose LE principals. Can you all tell I am beyond excited! LOL!!
TIA!!!

No advice, just a smiling congratulations :) it was my hubby too, who suggested trying again for us after I was sure he was done. I know the excitement, happy swaying!

Be sure you're giving DS an extra vitamin drop with Vit. D and DHA while you're taking the fiber, just in case your milk is lacking in those things at all.
So so excited for you!!!
I do think breastfeeding sways pink but it all depends on what you mean by "hardcore!"

Atomic I don't know if you recall any of my original sway, I know it was pretty strong. What would you do? Lighter/safe sway while nursing or kitchen sink towards the end or when done? Again I am planning on doing a personalized sway I just don't know if it would up my chances to do it now or wait???
thanks Vegmom & kitkat I have no idea. I really didn't think DH was going to be interested so I hadn't thought that far. Guess its time to make some plans!

Atomic btw DS does get 1 bottle of formula every day & has started solids. So yes I am nursing for a year but not exclusively. Don't know if that makes a difference. I am open to try at any point sooner or later just relying on your gut & experience to let me know when I should start up with my plan :)

I do recall but the thing is, even the best sways produce opposites like 30% of the time so it's one of those things where you can do it all "right" and still not get the outcome you're hoping for. It doesn't mean you should change anything and esp. doesn't mean that you should then launch into some incredibly strict sway, it may have been that luck wasn't on your side this time and next time it will be. I honestly don't know what the right answer is, what I DID do was a more lighter, laid back sway and had success, but I wasn't going to have super huge regrets either way so I didn't feel too bad about skipping things and having regrets, you know?
What I did that worked was diet, breastfeeding, lost weight, drank a bit of alcohol, and DH drank a bit of alcohol and smoked. I took vitex for several months but then dropped it and got pg the following month. Oh and I also did one attempt.

I don't think it matters, it's the chemistry of your body breastfeeding that sways (and it may even continue to sway pink for a while after stopping!)

Depends somewhat on how old your baby is and how much they nurse BUT generally:
1800-2000 cals
50-60 g pro
upper levels of fat so more like 50-60 g
