TTC a Girl Sway Attempt

Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
Complete change from when conceived boys. Used Myfitnesspal app daily to ensure stuck to all limits of LE diet. Mainly vegetarian only having protein when counting it in limits. Skipped breakfast and never snacked apart from on occasional cheat days. Had same lunch most days, vegetarian type dinner and always had a supper of crumpet, ginger nuts, haribos etc (Always within limits but made diet so much easier to stick to as always looked forward to nightly treat!)
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
16 weeks at least.
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
Yes
Did DH change his diet with you?
Yes
Comments regarding DH's diet-
DH basically did same as me as wanted to get fitter and lose weight as he has been overweight for a long time. We ate most meals together and always had the same!
DId you consume alcohol? A couple of drinks per week
DId you try to limit caffeine?
No, I did not factor that into my sway
Any Diet Details?
DH and I feel better about ourselves than we have in years. We were both overweight when had boys and are now both much fitter and feel great! If nothing else diet has got us back to weight we should be if not less!
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
I feel proud of myself that I changed my diet so much. This was a complete change for me and I found the longer I did it the more I got into the routine of it. Really hoping I have done enough to get my girl!
WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
Started Sway plan September 2014 weighed 151lbs BMI 22.2 At time of conception weight down to 132lbs BMI 19.5. I also had lost several stone prior to starting the LE diet. A year ago I was 170lbs and am now 132lbs so feeling really good about weightloss. I am the lightest weight I have been in about 10 years!
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?
I did intense cardio 6-7 nights a week for 60 minutes. I did treadmill every day walking at at least 4mph. Found myfitnesspal a godsend for keeping me focused, also taping programmes to watch as I passed the 60 minutes helped too!

Got first positive OPK on CD16 which was slightly earlier than I had expected, we dtd that evening. By CD 18 had a negative OPK so thinking we did 1 day before OPK or thereabouts!

Because pos opk came a bit earlier DH only had abstained for 4 days, I also didn't have time to use refresh or the antihistamines. Atomic recommended having a try anyway as no sway is ever perfect so went for it! I was on top and J and D after 5 minutes! Before attempt we both had a hot shower (He couldn't have bath as our heating had broken!!) We also had a bottle of procescco between us prior to attempt as we had got it a few days earlier for Christmas!

Been wearing a negative ion bracelet whole sway, also been wearing a rose quartz necklace everyday.

Did you use any Old Wives Tales?
Wooden spoon under bed with pink outfit. Also had a little pebble with the girl's name on it tucked under there too! Worth a try!!
Things that make me feel great about my sway:
I feel great that I stuck to the exercise 6-7 times a week for 60 minutes, I also did the diet pretty well and lost loads of weight. We also only had one attempt which was successful! DH on board for full sway also helped as I really felt we were in it all together! Made it less stressful!
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
Positive OPK came a bit early so we had no time for refresh, anthistamines or the full 7 day abstain, was only 4 days! I am happy though that it was more relaxed due to coming bit quicker and I am hoping these things are not as influential as the diet and exercise plus one attempt!
Things worth mentioning:
We put our all into our girl sway and are praying that we have done enough! Having a plan from Atomic made it so much easier to follow and her advice has been very much appreciated! Keeping fingers and toes crossed that I can update it's a girl soon! If not, we tried our best and I can live with that!
I am HAPPIEST girl on planet, our sway plan worked!! Harmony results just back confirm we are having a GIRL!!! Our perfect family is going to be complete!! Atomic we owe you everything!! I truly believe that our sway plan was the secret!! THANKS SOO MUCH!! So so so so happy!! :ballerina:
