Yes, Tylenol is supposed to sway pink by lowering pH. But I have certainly taken it from time to time, so there's no way it's a magic bullet. I don't want you to suffer in pain!!! I suspect that any temporary pH effect from using it during AF will quickly leave your system by the time O comes around.

I never take pain meds, had no clue they swayed lol maybe I should start lol, does it lower your ph enough to even bother with it if youre swaying pink? you just take it around the clock?

To lower pH for a pink sway, it's prob. best to go with baby aspirin (low dose aspirin) instead of Tylenol - it's better for your body than Tylenol is (Tylenol can give you liver damage when you take it day in and day out). But if you're in pain and need to take something, Tylenol and ibuprofin do both lower pH.

Just take one low-dose 70-80 mg aspirin (diff. brands have diff. dosages) a day, or every two or three days if you find that it causes excessive bleeding/bruising.

As an aside, what pain medication is safe to take alongside the low dosage aspirin we're taking as a part of our sway? I had a minor panic the other evening after I took my baby aspirin then shortly after (without even thinking!) took some ibuprofen for some aches and pains but I was already led in bed going to sleep when I realised so I forgot to look into it!

Tylenol plus aspirin is safe. Ibuprofin can act as a blood thinner so it's best not to mix and match those two. (obviously once or twice here and there is ok - heck, you can even take more aspirin if it's only a one day thing.)

Thank you - Ibuprofen is what I usually take for my O pains (which are far worse than my AF pains!) but I'll try paracetamol while I'm on the aspirin.
