What do you think? I already have a son & a daughter. Some of the ultrasound photos I just had done look VERY similar to the pictures I had done when I found out I was having my son. Some show even MORE between the legs than w/ my son...I just question HOW positive my ultrasound tech was...he claimed "100%" right....but both my husband and I first thing we SAW looked like a penis. Just want some second opinions. We did go to a very well known ultrasound place that supposedly does a great job..I've only seen one person say they got their sex wrong.233232332423325

I think that's a boy based on the first pic, and to a lesser degree based on the second. I don't think you can distinguish based on the third image.

I also think the tech is probably an idiot if he/she tried to apply nub theory at 16w! The angle at that point no longer matters, rather it's about whether there's much there at all. Not that side profile shots are particularly good for showing gender, bc they really aren't past 13-14w.

Also, the side profile shot isn't properly done as it shows a leg, and neither of the other 2 shots are clear potty shots showing detail (I.e lines), which is what you need at 16w to determine gender. I would ask for a rescan with a better tech who can get the shots you need.

This is an interesting thread because it goes to show the techs don't always know. As a general rule I believe it's best to listen to the techs but I do agree that it looks boyish.

I honestly don't know but what i"ve always heard is that you can't use nubs after about 14 weeks and at that point potty shot is best.
