Stupid question about checking CP

I'm on vacation and I deliberately didn't take OPKs with me ( not smart move, I know) so I'm only guessing when I will O :worry:

We are BDing every other day :bigsmile: and my question is: if I check my CP would it decrease my chances to get pg or it has nothing to do with it?

I'm afraid I might disturb swimmers or pull out sperm which is capacitating. I know it's stupid, any thoughts? :oops:

Checking CM with frequent BDing is useless, Idk what's mine and what belongs to DH LOL!

Maybe I'm wrong so take my thoughts with a grain of salt (or a cup for swaying boy, LOL!) Re: CP if you're not checking it RIGHT after BD, you should be a-OK in terms of disrupting the swimmers. You shouldn't be sticking your finger UP INTO the cervix, KWIM? Just kinda feeling right around there at the opening. I would wait til the next am to check it though so as to avoid taking out any little fellas inadvertently ... though realistically what you'd take out wouldn't be enough to make or break you getting pregnant. Good luck! A vacay baby would be super fun!

No, after a few minutes "Elvis has left the building" and you are free to check your CP without worrying about losing sperm. The closer you are to ovulation, the faster the sperm head into the cervix.
