I'm out AF arrived today at 10 dpo. I knew this month was a long shot anyway. Is an LP of 10days long enough. I think I will take some B6 to try and extend that this month.

I think the B6 is a great idea for you! 10 days is on the cusp of being too short. When mine was 11 days for a few cycles, my doctor didn't like it and put me on progesterone. She said that one of the biggest reasons women don't get pg is because they have too short an LP and don't even realize that it can hurt your chances of pregnancy. If you don't have enough progesterone in your body in the LP, it will shed everything out, even a little bub that is hoping to implant in there but really needs a couple more days. B6 is great at lengthening your cycle, give that a shot first. And it's said that it sways girl, too. If you are ok with seeing your doctor, you could get him or her to write you a prescription to have a progesterone level check approximately 7 days after you ovulate (they usually say CD21, but I just go 7 days after I ov because I don't always ov on CD14). HTH!

Starting to feel really  12dpo still BFN and AF is due to start in 2 1/2 days... I still have a ton of symptoms and trying my best to ignore them because I don't want to focus on something that may be just in my head... mostly  because I would have to buy a new supply of nearly all supps/herbs/vita, continue this diet into Sept because I don't want to conceive in August, and I wont be able to find out the gender before the Holidays

Purp, I am RIGHT there with ya. I feel the exact same way. I'm sorry you got a bfn....I did yesteday at 12dpo also and shifted my mind to next month already, I can feel the pre-af cramps today anyway....she's coming tomorrow. Well, let's look at it this way: you may not be out, maybe a late bfp.....and if it's not, even though it sucks to have to do diet and all this jazz for another couple months, you will have an even better sway, right? I gotta keep myself "cup half full" during these ttc times. HUGS hon, I hope you are just having a late bfp.....cuz yea, you had so many symptoms!

purplepoet20
August 11th, 2011, 01:03 PM
I haven't had any pre-AF symptoms yet I would have had cramps and diaherra all day today... the only thing different today is my lower stomach feels like it is cool inside ??? and oddly consitpated for 2 days now!

Interesting..... Those all seem to be pg symptoms. My uterus feels "cold" or sometimes "hot," I can't tell which one, just a burning sensation when I have cramps, but I remember feeling that when I had implantation before. FX!

Actually, I'm feeling really down about this month. DH and I have only dtd twice (though he's been releasing every day for about a week and a half). On Saturday we had a quickie, and I pretty much had to jump and dump as we had to rejoin my family. Last night was a normal attempt, but I had just used a fingerful of rephresh about 4 hours before. I wasn't going to use rephresh at all this month but decided to use a bit on atomic's advice because I spent the weekend swimming in the pool. The thing is, I thought O wasn't coming until Wednesday or Thursday, so I thought there'd be more time for the rephresh to wear off. We'll dtd tonight and probably again tomorrow night even if I think I've O'd. I really want to get pregnant and I'm praying the rephresh won't ruin this month!!!!!:nails:

Hmmmm maybe shallow release with a bit of hip propping this time around with no j&d? that might help the little swimmers....don't get down Mocha! People get pregnant using condoms and bcp's!! A bit of rephresh should be fine:) come on Girly swimmers!!!!! :cheerteam:

We definitely won't be doing j&d - it's not part of my sway, and the only reason I did it the other night was because it was unavoidable. I just hope DH's spermies are still strong enough to survive that rephresh! I'm not using Sylk this month so hopefully that will help.

Ok Ladies....to be perfectly honest I have know idea when I will O this month...because ever since losing the baby in Dec. my AF is all messed up! 1 month will be 26 days the next maybe 24 or 27....I think I had 1 that was 28 which is normal for me. But because I am not actively trying for a girl we will be (and have been for a few days now) bding everyday.....heck I may just go the whole month bding!!
So after Wednesday (I tracked 24-28 days on a calender for the best days for O...it gave me a week of days so I am gonna run with them!) I should be in the 2ww with everyone.....and I hope that there will be a bfp at the end of the 2ww! :fingers: and maybe just maybe losing my Evan will send us a baby sister!
Congrats to all the bfp.......and so sorry for the ones that didn't!

Hi all,

I've been lurking on here since my failed cycle at the beginning of the year. We have actively been not trying to hinder pregnancy but have not been swaying. I have done the calendar only and no opk or charting. I have a gut feeling that this month is the month. I know it may be crazy but I feel it more in my gut than with the ivf. My cycle has been all over the place but my last cycle was 7/22 and the one before that 6/17. Based on that I think I o'd last week. I never know when it happens exactly but I do know I was crampy last week as well. I plan on waiting until 8/26 to test. Also to note, with both of my preg. I had a neg poas and blood test a couple of days after my missed AF. I didn't get a positive poas until I retested about 1-2 weeks later. The first one I took it after my breast were unusually sore and the 3nd after I couldn't comfortably button my pants!

So, I guess technically, I'm in the 2ww! fx for blue!

ttcboy2011
August 16th, 2011, 12:28 AM
Fx for everyone!!! Good luck!
I'm afraid to test. I don't want to see a bfn. Tomorrow I'll be 12 dpo. Af due is 3 days.
Im not even so sure I'll be preg since we didn't Bd so much on fertile week.
We did Bd on O day. So I still have some hopes up.

Since May, but I started the diet a few months before. I'm thinking of taking a break because I've been stressing about it too much. How many months for you, Lola?

This will be my 13th month overall, although with 2 m/c thrown in there, I've only actually tried for 9 of them. A break is a good idea if you've been stressing....especially if you are swaying pink, IMO. I had to take a 3 month break after the last m/c and it was good for my attitude.

Yes, I had very tender bbs. I had a dream that I took 2 HPT and got BFPs. When I woke up, I took a test and it was negative, but that night I just had a feeling I was so I took another, (which I don't ever do 2 HPTs on 1 day). I was 10 dpo! Hey ladies - I think I can officially join you now! I'm fairly sure I O'd late last night - we got our last attempt in before bed, then my temp was up this morning and cervix was becoming firm. One thing I noticed this month is that I never really got true EWCM - I had slippery, watery cm but it was often sort of opaque/creamy in colour. Normally I'm an EWCM factory for days before O (sorry to gross everyone out). Anyone else had that at O time? I hope it's a sign that all this swaying I'm doing is working!

Hi all, I´m here too, it´s my second month and according to FF I´m 3 dpo. But I think I could have O-ed on sunday/monday already since I had a positive OPK saturday and sunday, isn´t it weird that my EWCM went away, cervix became less soft and then I supposedly O-ed two days later? Is it possibile to O and temp to stay low for a couple of days?
I tried to do a little bit of girl timing this time around since my diet wasn´t that good, so if I get a bfn this month I´m okay what that (well this was my though last weekend, now I´m back to just wanting a bfp and be able to snack asap :)!
Mocha, I have had a couple of ovulatory cycles without EWCM in spring, now I had some.
Good luck everybody!

Hi all, I didn't get much ewcm this mth,a first for me too!! Was bizarre!
I'm 9dpo and got a bfn, also my temp lower this morning, so still not very hopefully. Although, Fx still as no-ones out till the witch shows her face! xx

Doula, I agree heard of lots of bfp this past 2 wks, so lots of May babies!!!

Grrr...I'm so frustrated with temping! I've been avoiding doing it since my nights are so variable with waking kids it's hard to get consistent temps. I decided to try this month to see if I was wrong about my O signs and that's why I keep getting BFNs. I was doing ok - I was showing a distinct rise after my suspected O date and today would have been my third day of high temps so FF would have given me my crosshairs. Then...this morning at 5am ds3 woke up crying. I quickly popped the thermometer in before getting up and got a temp as low as my lowest pre-O temp! We're talking a nearly 2 degree drop from yesterday's temp. What's going on? I usually take my temp around 7, so it was 2 hours early, and it was entirely possible that I was sleeping with my mouth open, but is that enough to account for that temp dip? ALL other signs point to me ovulating on Tuesday - cervix is firm and tightly closed, cm is creamy. I just want to get those crosshairs so I know how many dpo I am!!!

Indira
August 19th, 2011, 08:13 AM
mocha if you are good at determining your cervix position ecc. and it is firm and closed then the low temp is probably because it was 2 hours earlier. could you take an opk just to be sure? i have really stabile pre-o temps now, the exact same every day, one day Ds2 woke me up 1 hour earlier and my temp was a lot lower then the other days too.
I love it too when the crosshairs show up!

I've been taking OPKs every day since my + and have gotten clear negatives. I haven't taken one today, but I will a little later. I just hate that the wonky temp is throwing doubt on something I would feel very confident about if I wasn't temping.

Alexis2007
August 19th, 2011, 08:55 AM
Mocha-use the temp adjustor on FF if you can.

Mochagirl
August 19th, 2011, 09:06 AM
I think I'll just assume it's a wonky temp and wait until tomorrow. If I get another low temp then, I'll start to worry. I think if I have to go another cycle, I may take my temp vaginally. I wear a mouth guard to bed to stop me from grinding my teeth, and as a result often sleep with my mouth open (gee, don't I paint an attractive picture of myself?:sigh:), so I'm constantly doubting the accuracy of my temps. I also have a non-BBT-specific thermometer that is a quick-read type (sometimes in as little as 10 seconds), so I doubt it's the most accurate option.

Anyone else ever get yellow creamy cm after O? I noticed it today and I've never had it before. Not sure if it means anything since I'm only 3dpo.

OH SNAP! That is a very common pregnancy symptom, I always get it too!

LolaInLove

Mocha, I would disregard that temp since it was earlier. Temping only is reliable if you do it the same time every morning and don't wake or move (a lot) for at least 6 hours, I believe. If your opks are negative, I would say you o'ed already for sure. Sometimes temps dip down post-O anyway, so don't worry about it!

Ok warning TMI!!
Ok so I was wondering if anyone else has experianced this before...it is not new for me but just wondering if anyone else has had this when O'ing.
For about 4-5 days I have had cm that is stretchy like eggs whites...then for a day or so nothing....then this morning it is back again.....also my lower back aches around O time and I get an achy pressure like feeling in my rear area. Anyone else ever have that during O? I get it sometimes around O and right before AF sometimes...but AF is not anywhere close to arriving yet. Sorry for the TMI but I am just wondering if anyone else gets that or if I am just weird!

Well I haven't seen anymore yellow cm today. It's just the white color. Not as much either so it may be turning to sticky. So I guess that's not good for a BFP!! :(

I was dry/sticky and had NO creamy cm at all before this bfp. I started getting cm at around 12dpo(after my bfp). I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised this month, Alexis....I feel such a good pregnancy vibe from you! It's kind of weird! LOL!

You have no idea how much I really hope your vibe is right!!! I'm really trying not to get my hopes up this time cause if I do, I'll be devastated!! It's very hard not to though.

I've also been having some AF-like cramps yesterday and today. Weird. Usually if I have post-O cramps they feel dull, but these feel just like AF could come any second. It's waaaaay early yet for symptoms though so I'm sure I'm making it up in my head lol. Stupid IPS!!!

Mocha, did you get crosshairs today?
I had some brownly tinged cm yesterday evening :sigh: way to early to be implantation bleeding, I´m 4 dpo today.
Having weird things happening to my cycle and seeing so many pink swayers with chemicals and miscarriages makes me think maybe I just should have tried to get pregnant without swaying and have another baby boy..

Mochagirl
August 20th, 2011, 06:41 AM
Mocha, did you get crosshairs today?

Yes, but only with a little tinkering. I had to discard yesterday's temp before it would give me the crosshairs. Today my temp was right at my coverline, but it was an hour earlier than my usual time. So now I'm officially 4dpo. I'm considering stopping temping since obviously I'm having trouble being consistent with my times and I'm worried I'll get really stressed if I get a wonky low temp.

As for symptoms, so far I've had the usual cramps (including a bit of lower backache), a bit of gassiness, and tons and tons of creamy cm. In fact, I'm so wet down there I kept thinking maybe I had EWCM until I checked. Whenever I feel sharp pains, they're on my left - the same side I'm fairly sure I ovulated on this time. In the past I've ALWAYS ovulated on the right, so I'm hoping this is a good sign that if I'm pregnant it could possibly be a girl (I know this is probably an OWT, but I need every bit of hope I can find).

{hugs} Indira, keep hope. I had an implantation bleed at 5dpo so you never know ...

I had a lovely morning at the hairdressers then I came out and it was raining so hard and I had to walk home! I have curly hair so it goes very frizzy in the moisture/wet. So typical! Now I'm trying to get a bit of decorating done before we get ready to go out tonight. Still no AF which is rather odd - just like the rest of this cycle! I'll just have to go out prepared :D 'See' you all tomorrow :D

Good sign, Alexis! I have tons of creamy cm, but it's white - I hope that's still a good sign. Another thing that happened to me today - I went out for dinner with a friend and had Japanese food. It was a huge cheat on the diet, but it didn't sit well at all. I came home and threw it all up - this is not at all normal for me.

I can't believe I'm only 4dpo. The next week is going to last forever! :sigh: FF tells me I should test on August 30th (14dpo). Yeah, right! I'll be lucky if I can last until 8dpo.

No not for DS2......I had remarried when DS1 was 7yrs old. And it took us over a year an a half with him...but that was because of hormone issue with both of us....once those were fixed boom DS2 joined our family. After that I got DS3 and DS4 without trying in fact they were oops babies. And I lost DS4 sometime between 26weeks and 27weeks. I have tried swaying with but got DS4. I really don't care about gender this time....just healthy and in our family is all that really matters...but a little girl would be a dream come true too!

Mochagirl

I'm 6dpo now. I've had enough high temps now that I was able to add in that wonky temperature from 3dpo again without messing up my O date. I noticed that with my last pregnancy my temp dipped waaaay below the coverline at implantation. I thought implantation at 3dpo was impossible, but when I did some research apparently it can happen. I doubt that's what it is - it probably has more to do with taking my temp 2 hours early, but the dip and gradual climb up look so similar to my BFP chart, I can't help but be hopeful!

I felt quite nauseous this morning - even before I got out of bed. I have cramps that come and go and even a bit of a lower backache. I'm also gassy and constipated - very attractive, I know :). I had an overly indulgent dinner the other night and threw it all up when I got home - normally I have a hollow leg when it comes to food, so that really surprised me.

I spent 3 days in the hospital, needed surgery and now have an 8in scar on my foot. Can't walk very well without screaming... Hubby says he needs a vacation from me and he is willing to take the boys. Also a friend of ours passed away last friday and we have been trying to explain to DS1 that Uncle Eddie wont be at Grandmas for Sunday dinner when we go this weekend.

Add trying to do diet, exercise, and everything else I don't get much time to chat. So wish I did because not many people know what I am up to and if they do they DO NOT GET IT!

Anyway, as of today I am back in the 2ww. We are only going to try until November and then we may look into adoption. That is where we are at because I am not doing the diet through the holidays. I have lost 35 lbs. but I am kind of stuck there as of the last week or so.

FX mocha for tomorrow! I´m not testing with you because I don´t have any symptoms, waiting to see if I get any.
I really hope you will post a picture like that one very soon..

Indira, I don't have ANY symptoms other than usual pre-af cramps and sore boobs. I got faint lines on IC, so tested with digi today. I don't usually get them till 6wks pg. So U never know u might still be in there!!!!! I'm in shock as I don't feel pg at all.

Congrats on all the BFP!

Flava I am only on once in the morning (about 9-10 for you). I am on the couch all day and hubby has to do everything. Cooking, diapers, baths, naps, playing, cleaning, and also packing for the weekend trip for the funeral. I normally do 70% of the daily activities and he does the playing and baths so I can make dinner and clean. I asked him last night if he feels sorry for the single parents... he said he would cry for them but he doesn't have the energy. He is doing really good but mostly tired. Since we are going to my IL's for the weekend they will take over with the boys for 4 days.... In 2009 when I was 6mths along with DS2 and I sprained my ankle he did everything for about 10days but back then he only had 1 boy the care for... The only lucky thing for him is I make large meals and freeze half for days when I can't cook.

So far healing good and I am doing ok without pain meds!

Congrats on the recent BFP's!! I am so happy for you guys! Good luck to the ladies coming up close to testing....Mocha!!!!
As for me...I am 3 dpo now, timing was so bad but I am hoping everything else works in my favor. I ovulated a day early!! So that threw everything off.
I am really concerned with my low temps though, I have always had good high temps after O. I stopped the Saw palmetto after O and added 100mg B6 should I take more? do you think my progesterone is too low or something? Can you ladies look at this months chart and the last few and tell me what you think? Am I just freaking out for nothing? I threw up this morning (too early for BFP sign) I think I am just so worked up between the ovulating early, messed up timing and now these wierd temps.
Gotta love the TWW

LolaInLove
August 24th, 2011, 11:55 AM
Emmy, have you ever had your progesterone level checked? Looks like some of your old charts have post-O temps that start lower and rise gradually. I wouldn't worry about it too much because you have a nice length LP and your temps do go up. I don't know much about B6 after O, but I know you want to wean off it soonish. FX this is a good month with the changes!

Hey ladies - I keep going back and forth between feeling like there's no way I'm pregnant and feeling like I'm definitely pregnant (unfortunately, I feel the former more often than the latter). I just don't have any definitive symptoms like sore boobs, but subtle things keep happening that make me wonder:

-my energy level has been pretty high for the past week, but right now I am completely knackered. I've never been a napper, but I feel like I could nap for hours right now. I was up early this morning, but not a lot earlier than usual, so I'm hoping it could be a good sign.
-my boobs aren't sore, but every once in a while I get a sharp pain in them. My nipples have been itchy once or twice as well
-a couple of days I kept having a pinching feeling in my cervix - I remember that this was one of the symptoms I had before my last BFP
-I had period-like cramps for days, but they seem to be gone now, to be replaced by very infrequent but noticeable sharp pains in my belly. Today I had a strange stitch-like pain in my side
-cm keeps fluctuating between creamy/watery/sticky, but so far I've never been dry and I have some creamy cm every day - it's just not really abundant

I know many of these symptoms could happen at any time (and I think I've experienced many of them on BFN months), but I'm hoping the sum of all of them together could be meaningful. Any of you recent BFPs had any of these symptoms?

Sorry for all the obsessing, but I have the 8dpo impatience blues and need a bit of a boost.

Mocha-I think your symptoms sound promising!! I started feeling the fatigue yesterday at 8dpo too!! My boobs never really hurt (until yesterday evening). Just my nipples felt bruised when touched. I did have some tingling on and off though. My cm has also went from creamy to sticky to creamy to wet all in a day (this was actually yesterday too) FX for you Mocha!!!

Thanks, Alexis - I don't think my cm is normally constantly changing like this, so I'm hopeful it could be a good sign. Even when it's creamy, though, it's pretty sparse. Was yours abundant?

The fatigue's always a tough one, because what mother of small children isn't tired all the time?

I don't think I ever got sore boobs before a BFP before, so I'm trying not to worry too much about that one.

princesssarah sore boobs are a promising sign! How many dpo are you now?

Mocha I love hearing about your symptoms :)
I hope one of the BFP-ers will say what they think soon, meanwhile in my opinion the sharp pain in boobs and belly are promising. And I´m all with you, today I finally started to notice something so now I´m obsessing over my symptoms too :).
I feel absolutely knackered too (love the word knackered!).
I took my boys to do some sightseeing today, on the way back I had a very hard time not feeling asleep while driving. And at dinner time I just wanted to go to bed. Very scared that I´m fooling myself into thinking I´m pregnant because I felt so out up to today.
I´ve decided I will test on Sunday, 12 dpo, but I might cave on Saturday:)

mocha it´s not sunday yet so who knows :) but it´s because last cycle I started at 8 dpo I think, used 7 IC and 1 FRER, spent a lot of time staring at those faint lines in front of every window in my home lol and in the end AF showed up so I don´t want to get my hopes up like that again. So all day yesterday I was obsessing over O chart calenders and for the most part they were always right for me....but here is the problem lately:
1) stupid AF not reg. any more
2) thinking that because of that the time period for O is off too...if I go by cm and position of cervix it is...ugh...totally confused by this one

So here is what I have been looking at by Calendar:
24 days-O on or around the 14th ?
25 d -O on or around the 15th ?
26 -O on or around the 16th ?
27 - O on or around the 17th ?
28 - O on or around the 18th ?
Now if I go by cm......it was clear egg white stretchy from 14th-19th but my
cervix was low (I believe) and on the 20th it was a bit higher (a little harder to find) I have been checking every day and it is high (still a little hard to find)
So here is were I am losing my mind....if my AF comes Sun. going by 24d calendar...but I didn't actually O till later does that make for a prob??
Because I believe that I still O on a 28 day calender by cm and cervix position but my AF always comes early the last 6 months....
UGH Help!! I hope this wasn't to confusing!

You know we are all gonna tell you it's still early, Mocha...but I'm sorry, I know how defeating it is to see the bfns.

PrincessSarah, do you take opks? I am sorry you are having such a time with your cycle! All I can tell you is that I O'ed all over the place for a while, but then it got regular again, I have no idea why.....maybe some girl sway stuff is messing with your cycle. I would take some opks if you don't already. Wondfo makes a pack of super cheap ones (40 of them, plus 10 hpts!) for like $10 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Combo-Ovulation-Tests-Pregnancy-Strips/dp/B0002YIQLY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1314366030&sr=8-2 Just in case you need them!

So, I am 1dpo! Lalalalalalaaaaaaa! I feel nauseated this morning, which is really unusual for me, but I know that is kind of a ridiculous symptom to consider. Just don't want to eat anything really, but am choking down some protein.

How is everyone else? PP? CapAqu? Still here?

Thanks, Lola. I didn't get my BFP until 11dpo with ds3, so I won't feel too badly defeated until tomorrow. I just worry that I lost too much weight too fast (20 lbs in 3 months + 1 month at this new weight) and now my body can't get pregnant.

Oh WOW Mocha, that is amazing weight loss! I know what you mean though, I worry that I've got the opposite problem and have gained too much to get pg. Welcome back to the TWW Lola, I hope this is our month!!!

Mocha- I am sorry about the BFN, I will say don't worry it is early, but I know I will be you in about 5 days....I will start testing at 9dpo and be sad with every BFN, feel totally out...even though I know I have never gotten a BFP till 11dpo! Why we do this to ourselves I do not know, but we do...LOL. It is all part of the horrible TWW torture.

5dpo for me now, I feel symptoms but my body is so wacked out betweent he diet and hormone supps I don;t know what what is from that or "maybe pregnant" things. So I am just trying to avoid "feeling" like I am pregnant so I don't get my hopes up to much. Especially with this wacky temp cycle. If you look at my chart comparison which has my average and current I am just so far off. Plus, I think I read once that lower temps was a boy sign....who knows...I hate the TWW.

Good luck lola and emmy!
And people please stop wishing me blue dust :)!

Emmy it is pre-O temps that might be good for a blue sway I think, not post-O.
My chart looks similar to yours with temps dropping to early after O, I think it´s the SP or hormonal imbalance because of the weight loss for me. But yours are so flat and low I´m thinking maybe your body didn´t make up enough estrogen and you might still O??

LolaInLove
August 26th, 2011, 10:07 AM

LOL Indira, sorry if it was me wishing you blue! Interesting....looks like you did O because FF gave you solid crosshairs, but maybe you should try an opk for a day or two again if you have some? Do you feel like you Oed? May be that your temps are just low. It also appears that some months your temps go up a bit but generally, they are not super high. Maybe it is the girl supps, I don't know much about them, though.

I "think" I o'd. It was a wierd month, I never got a positive OPK but part of that is because I only had two and I was waiting to use them night of Day 12 and Day of 13. I normally O same day or right after positive. I had a very hard time keeping my PH down early afternoon of Day 12 so I think I o'd then. My ph is always around 4.3 except when I ovulate. I don't know.

Yes, that´s right, since FF gave you crosshairs you probably have O-ed. I have had that my temp went up for 2 days and then it went back and stayed low for a couple of days and then O and that was what I was thinking of, but FF never gave me crosshairs in this case.
Don´t worry about the blue dust lola, actually DM started sending it to me:), take all I have!

I'm useless with temp interpretation, Emmy, but I really hope you get your BFP!

I was hoping my temp would go up today, but it stayed pretty much the same. What do you all think of my chart - I rarely temp so I don't have much to compare it with except a couple of charts from last time I TTC 3 years ago.

I'm really starting to feel like I'm not going to get my BFP this month.

Mocha, I don't know, but they are still high....I don't think temp patterns are the same for each pregnancy, either. Your body may be way different now, especially with girly sway stuff. Just try to keep positive, hun, I know it is easier said than done!

Thanks for the blue dust my way, you know I'm sending girlie juju to all of you pink swayers!

I think it still looks good mocha, I believe it is a good sign when the temp goes back up at 11/12/13 dpo when it would normally go down and AF would arrive. But I´ve also seen charts with a temp drop at 12 dpo and a bfp anyway.

Good Morning Ladies.........I am so totally confused this morning.....so I need your help!!!! I took a test this morning but I am totally crazy at this point! But I swear I see a line on this test!! Please if you all would look at it and tell me what your eyes see.....cause I think I am seeing things!! I have never gotten an evp line before but this could be a 1st in the dept. Please Ladies give it to me straight!!! :fingers:

PS, I see a little something on the inverted one, but aren't they closer together? I think I see a faint one about halfway between the arrow point and the control line, no?

princesssarah34
August 26th, 2011, 01:16 PM
The line in between only show on the pic..not on the test strip....cause I saw it to after I posted them on here and went back and looked....but on the test the only spot with a line is were I put arrows...........see why I am so confused!!

I am probably just losing my mind!!! :nails:

Mocha, that is a small dip and only at 10dpo so I still think you are way in the game. I know I would be feeling the same as you though at 10dpo. It seems so many ladies get these early BFP's it makes it hard on us ones that have to wait till 11 or 12 dpo but I am the same way.
Princess sarah...I might see something, but I am terrible at those things! What DPO are you again?

August 26th, 2011, 02:28 PM
Emmy2012.........I have no real idea what dpo I am since I don't chart O's....I could have O'd between the 14th-20th....so I am just thinking I am completely crazy at this point!!!

Mocha, I had a big dip at 8 and 9 dpo (implantation likely), so maybe that was urs 3dpo??? Can it implant that early?? Got my bfp at 12dpo.

Apparently it's possible to implant that early, though if I had you would think I'd have my BFP by now! I think it's more likely just an anomaly - that morning I took my temp at 5am instead of my usual 7am, so that could have been a big factor.

I did another test - just a cheapie this time - and I thought I saw something for a second, but there was no colour in it and I didn't notice it until after 10 minutes, so I think it was just an evap line. I'm sure if you stare at a test for long enough, anyone could see a line!

Alexis2007

Princess-honestly, I think that the line you are pointing out on your test is just the antibody strip. The test line is supposed to be waaayy closer to the control line :(

Princess Sarah, LOL I am sure you're not crazy....we all are in the 2ww, so no worries! I'd say just take another one in a couple days. I hate testing early, too. I do it at 10dpo usually, but I wish I had the will power to just wait till AF was late. Bfns just stare me in the face like they are saying NICE TRY SISTER.

I totally love you ladies....and after looking at the orig. pic and not the one I drew on.....the arrows are in the wrong place...I got so excited I put them in the wrong place.....the line to the right of the arrows and between them and the control line it the real line!!!
Alexis thanks for the invert pic...i can't figure out how to do that on my computer!
Lola you are right the line is to the left of the arrows.....I am a dork!!

And yes this was with FMU.....I am gonna take another one in the morning! I have a 5 left....so I can take one every morning until AF is suppose to arrive! :fingers:

I played with another pic just so I am clear.....is there a line showing with the control line...between the 2 black line I place on the pic? I see a faint something! Thanks ladies for your FX I will totally test 1st thing in the morning!

Well, ladies - I'm 11dpo now and still have a BFN. I'm really feeling down now - I don't know what to do about next month if I don't get my BFP this month. I've rambled on about this in other threads, but my mother is going to be in Spain for much of the month of June, so if I have a baby then we won't have anyone to come help us with the kids when I go to the hospital and during those first early days home with the new baby. At the same time, the thought of waiting another 2 months before potentially getting a BFP (and having to diet all that time) makes me want to cry. DH doesn't want to wait and seems to think his mother could come from the other side of the country to help out, but she's never so much as lifted a finger when she visits and isn't very good with the kids (they only see her once or twice a year and she ignores them much of the time she's here) + he won't ask tell her we're TTC so we don't even know that she'd be willing to come. I just fear I'd end up having to host her instead of her taking care of us - when my mom's here after birth she cooks all our meals, does all our laundry, and keeps the older kids entertained all day long and I just can't imagine my MIL doing that.

Sorry for the long story, I'm just so conflicted about what to do. What do you guys do about your older kids when you go to the hospital to have a baby? We don't have any babysitters or any family in town. I have a couple of Mom friends who might be able to come for an hour or two each, but both have 2 kids of their own so I can't ask them to come for long.

Mocha-I'm sorry about the bfn. You're still not out though.

IMO if I were you, I'd go ahead with TTC next month. But from what you've said on here you've lost A LOT of weight. Maybe you should scale way back on the diet and focus on eating healthy and gaining a little weight back. I was skinny with DD1, but weighed 150 when we conceived DD2 (I'm 5'2").

When we had DD2, I did have mil to help out. DD1 stayed the night with her until we got out if the hospital. After that I didn't have any help. This time idk what I'm going to do. I've grown not to trust mil do if she does help out while we're in the hospital, she'll be staying at our house. She probably won't want to do that so DH will probably be the one taking care of the girls and leaving me in the hospital by myself (at night only).

August 27th, 2011, 08:51 AM
Oh mocha!!! You're not out yet!! I personally could not take a month off, I just want to get it done!! I think you definitely need help whilst you're in hospital and your mil is better than no-one! Besides the whole thing is difficult to plan as baby might decide to come early and throw everything off anyway! Still keeping fx for you, xxxxxxx

Mochagirl
August 27th, 2011, 09:19 AM
The thing is, MIL lives 2000km away, so she wouldn't be able to come on a moment's notice. She would probably have to come a week before the due date and stay until the little one is born, which could potentially mean a loooong stay. We aren't close at all, and as I said, when she comes she normally doesn't lift a finger to help with anything.

If I end up being in the hospital for any sort of stay after birth (last time I lucked out and went home 2 hours after birth), I would be fine with staying there on my own without dh. Honestly, he's not much help with a baby anyway and is super grumpy when he doesn't get much sleep ;).

I think you're both right, though - I don't think I can take a month off TTC and still keep my sanity. Honestly, when DH suggested we keep trying anyway I felt relieved even though I was stressed about the logistics. No matter how depressed I get, I find CD1 reassuring somehow - I know that in 2 weeks I'll make my attempt, and 2 weeks later I'll know whether or not I'm pregnant. Besides, my reading on SweetBabyBump said I would get a pink BFP in September ;).

Alexis - I'm 110lbs now, and my BMI is 20. I definitely don't want to lose anymore weight, though I think I've found a balance that lets me maintain this weight since I only lost 1lb in the last few weeks. I'm definitely going to ease up on the diet, mostly because I'm ready to die of boredom from eating the same thing over and over. I'm not going to be quite as strict with protein (maybe 50g instead of 40g) so I can eat some more normal food. I might even let myself eat chicken once a week, but I haven't decided for sure on that yet. I'm also going to let myself cheat on special occasions like eating out, and I'm going to try not to feel too guilty about it.

Mocha, I'm sorry, hun. It may still be early for you indeed. But I know how you feel. I say keep going. You guys will figure it out, even if you have to search for a while and find a nice university girl or nanny that can sit with your kids when you go to the hospital and then some afterwards while you recover. I think about that stuff also, because both of our families are 1000 miles away from where we are, and both DH and I have to work full-time, so juggling a baby will be hard, but we both know we want one so badly that we just want to make one and then we will worry about logistics after that.

And I think your plan of adding in some more protein is a good idea. Maybe a prenatal also if you don't already take one. I will be pulling for you!

Indira, sorry for the AF on her way.

PrincessSarah, I'm excited to see some more tests!

Emmy, hope you are doing well also. My temp was coverline low this morning myself (2dpo) so I need to start my progesterone supplements for sure. Emmy, I may have said this before, but have you had your progesterone level checked? You just get a blood draw about 7 days after you ovulate. May help! If you want to, you can also just take matters into your own hands and get a progesterone cream from a health store and use that. It is totally natural, made from yams, so won't hurt you at all. I don't mean to get you all freaked out or anything, may be that you are just fine and have lowish post-o temps, but I know that I need a bit of a progesterone boost myself. Just a thought!

Ok I know some of you are waiting on my test from this morning! 1st of this showed up in the 5min mark but is still light....but a bit darker than yesterday.

Conrats Prnicess Good luck!!!

Mocha...I am so sorry hun...it still can show up though, you are not out. In fact with the one daughter I have, she was the one I NEVER got a BFP with....I finally went to the doctors and they had to do a blood test. I have no idea what dpo I was back then. I was too young and should not have been pregnant (lol) but I do know my period was late and I still got a BFN. Also..I would definately try again next month. As far as the diet...I admit once I O I eat for a couple days. I am a small girl already, and I would not be able to go too long. I have been doing this diet since Feb with just a few breaks. It is too hard to maintain. So I lighten up in the TWW and I go hardcore 1000-1100 calories from af to o. I really feel the hormones, vitex and saw palmetto is what will be the big factor for me.

Thanks Girls, I "think" my chart is getting better...maybe the B6 is kicking it. I only start it after O when I stop the Saw Palmetto. I don't know..if I am out this cycle I think I am gonna pick me up some cream. I have not been tested for progesterone yet as I have in the past tended to be fertile mertile. So at least I have changed that...LOL...maybe. I have to get pregnant to get a girl.

Mochagirl
August 27th, 2011, 12:28 PM
Wow - I'm impressed you've survived on this diet so long, Emmy! I've been on it since the beginning of May, and I'm sooooo done with it. I do tend to eat a bit more after I O, and I always have one or two cheat days when af arrives to drown my sorrows. Part of my problem the past two months has been that I've been out of town during our attempt, and so it's been hard to control what I eat around O. At least in September we aren't planning any trips around my O day, so I'll be able to control my diet better on those important days.

Princess - I think you'll get your BFP if you use a FRER tomorrow!

Emmy2012
August 27th, 2011, 12:34 PM
Yeah we were originality going to do our first attempt in May so I was all over it starting in Feb. Stuff happened so we put if off till July. If i don't get pregnant this month Sept will be our last month trying. I conceived Noah in October so I want to stay in other months. Plus we go into birthday central. So I really hope it happens this month or next at the latest. It will be very hard to give up something I have been working on since Feb.
My temp went up again today so I am hoping my p levels are getting better and maybe that is sign....I have so many symptoms...but I did last month too...I think it is the hormone supps.
did I mention TTC sucks! LOL

Mochagirl
August 27th, 2011, 12:49 PM
That sucks, Emmy! I really, really hope you get that BFP soon!

I really wanted to avoid a Fall conception too - I conceived my twins in September and ds3 in October...but I just can't see myself being able to go off the diet then start from scratch again to TTC at a later time. I just have to hope my swaying is enough and that I can still get my girl!

I am totally terrified to do a FRER!!!! I have to perfectly honest.....I had more patience with testing with my other pg's! I would always wait until day of AF because I was never ever late by a day even....so I would just test the day AF should have come....and always got a bright as pink line in less than the time it took for sample to soak up the strip!!!

I may wait just a few more days....and break down and test with a FRER!

Well, its official! There were 2 bright lines yesterday which was 1 day after my missed AF! I've never ever gotten a BFB until AF was 2 weeks late. Also, I have NO real symptoms! I don't know if I should be scared or what. I'm going to get labs done on Mon.

Ok, I guess I do have a few symptoms but nothing major. On Tues I had excruciating cramps and migraine for 2 days. Then slight cramps every since. Boobs not tender but..if this makes sense, I can "feel" them! LOL Like, even sitting here now they feel more sensitive but not in a painful way, IDK, hard to explain. Also on Tuesday I had to throw up twice. Once in the afternoon and once at night. That's it! I don't even have any noticeable cm but in my other pregnancies I actually remember being very dry as well.

I guess I should be cautiously optimistic but we will see for sure when my numbers start to double! Also, my Brother in law called my SIL this morning and said that he had a dream that I had a baby boy!! WHAT?!?! Hopefully its God stepping in to tell me that everything is ok and in His hands now!
