Hi all!

I started Provera on Jan 16. Af started 24th and clomid was taken on cds 2-6 as per Dr suggestions. Started using clear blue advanced opk on cd 10 and got the O (meaning low fertility) for 3 days. Cds 13-17 I got the flashing smiley (meaning high fertility) and the steady smiley (peak) on cd 18. I started getting o pains on cd 17 which is when my cm was creamy and cp was high. Did bd cd 17-19.

I've been having moderate to sometimes severe cramps everyday since and sore boobs and lower back for 2 1/2 days now.

I've always felt the o pain but never cramped this bad for this long other than af cramps that are usually only the first few days. Any ideas what this could be? Should I be worried? Could this be cyst?

Clomid can cause all sorts of symptoms before, during, and after O. I wouldn't assume you have a cyst, I think you're having clomid side effects still.

You can get O pains before, during, and after O and Clomid can really make for some strange and wicked O pains!!

Thanks ladies. I also have been having some crazy breast soreness and yesterday saw a change in cm. Maybe a bfp in my future?!

Maybe, altho Clomid can be a party pooper by making you have pg-like symptoms and BFN. :/ GL!!!

Definitely planning for that. Can help but hope though.

Another question... My cm has changed yet again, from dry (1dpo) to creamy (5dpo) and now ewcm (7dpo). We have dtd so I'm not confusing it with semen... Another side effect of clomid?

AT about that point in your cycle, you have something called "the secondary estrogen surge" which is when your body releases a burst of estrogen to help maintain your uterine lining for a little while longer to enable a baby to implant. Sometimes you will get estrogen-related symptoms like a wee bit of EWCM, a temp dip if you're temping, or a little spotting from your cervix at this point.

This is all so new to me. I have four other kids but only one was planned and although I needed clomid to conceive, I didn't chart or time. This baby making thing is so much easier and less stressful, it seems, when you're not waiting miserably and oh so impatiently!

So, I started testing with hpt at 10dpo. Yesterday was 15dpo and all have been negative. If I ovulated, why haven't I started my period yet? I've put a call into my obgyn but they're referring me to an RE. I am going crazy needing answers before then! Please help and thank you in advance!

Well its possible that your body geared up to O, but then didn't. It can happen (and it has happened to me).

I hope you get some answers...

Your O was delayed. Please don't panic, your AF will come. :)

Thanks ladies. It actually just came. It was a heartbreaking moment, for sure. Even though I knew I wasn't pregnant, I guess maybe I was holding onto hope that it could be a false negative... All 7 tests! Wish I could just go with the flow and not stress and obsess so much. Is that even possible??

I am thankful that it came on its own and I don't have to wait for another round of provera.

I would not assume O was delayed/you Oed later than you think (though that is certainly possible), as clomid is well known for extending the LP, sometimes up to 18 days! It is extremely common to have a longer than usual LP in clomid cycles.

I'm so sorry AF came. But it sounds like that just the fact that you Oed is a good thing? Will you do another round this cycle? Good luck regardless!

Yes,I will be trying another round of clomid. If no bfp this time around, then I will have to start all the extra monitoring and testing.

Clomid can extend LP for some people but I have only seen it happening once.
