Hi Ladies,
I'm planning on traveling to US later this year to try and conceive a girl to complete my family. I am looking into the costs and I understand clinics give rough indication on successful pregnancy outcomes.....but has anyone had an luck on the first egg implantation sticking??????

I'm worried about costs mounted with each unsuccessful attempt? any insight? stories?

US cost through HRC seems to be around $12,000 plus meds and testing here in OZ $2-3k. But I'm trying to budget for this and need to obviously factor in flights and accommodation and then the possible cost of having to return if the first egg isn't sticky and I'm lucky enough to have other viable girl eggs to try again.

It can work with one attempt. Your age and pretesting are two of the main predictors of success. The price is $12,200 only if you request your consult through this site using the forms on here so they know you are a Dream Member. If not, it is $13,200.

Don't forget to convert the $12200 from US dollars to Aus dollars too ;) I just paid mine and it was just under $16000 Aussie :/

Thanks!! have been scared to type it into a converter. Where are you staying if you don't mind me asking when you are there? I need to research accommodation to get a final cost and break the news EXTREMELY gently to my husband

You can stay for $99 in a hotel. Don't turn it into a huge vacation and spend a potential second cycle on a huge family holiday. This is a big expense for the vast majority and if you have your husband leave a sample, you can go back alone if you did need a second cycle.

Hi! I cycled over 5 years ago at HRC. We did ivf/ms/pgd and were successful the first time. My little girl will be 5 in May. Best of luck!

Hanbee, just wondering why are you considering America and not Thailand? I've only started my research so I'm
Interested in knowing the pros and cons?
