Hi guys! Gender scan tomorrow at 16+6! (Anticipation took over lol!!!) this scan is 13+1.. My babies nub is very flat (girly) but has something on the end (boyish) can anyone shine light on this? I always thought the nub theory was the 'angle of the dangle?' Does my babies nub go against this? Place your guesses guys I will update you all when I find out! Thank you all xxx

Gosh Mia this could go either way it looks stacked equals boy but if there was no bobble I would say girl for sure, good luck today! What are you hoping for? X

I know! I'm so confused! A lot of people seem adament it is a boy.. But I'm thinking it could be something in the background on the ultrasound??? Cos it's 13+1 weeks.. So it should have risen by now surely? I'm so confused! Thank god for gender scan tomorrow!
Well my instinct has been girl from the beginning, it's same pregnancy as on my daughter, plus no sickness, and also done the bicarb test and it didn't fizz... I honestly would love either, a girl would be fab for my 17 month old to have a best buddy! But a boy would be fab to have one of each... Get me? Lol! I don't know where your living but my scan isn't until tomorrow :( thanks for giving your opinion :)

It looks like a boy because of the bump. Boys can have a "bump" on the end of the nub.

Is it possible/known for a girl to have a bump on their nub? Could it be something in the background?

I see a clear two line stack that is very bulby on the end of the nub which would rule out background for me and give it a boy guess. Boys rise at different times so its possible it was just starting or movement distorted the angle. Boys and girls both fork so you have to look at the type of fork. a more curved bulby stack like () will be boy where a clean V will go girl.

Thank your or explaining! Every single gender test I've done other than the nub theory have said girl, only the nub theory indicates a boy! So I'm very very curious! Was adament it was a girl until I heard of the nub theory and now my opinions are everywhere lol! I just can't see ANY rise at all in this nub lol! Oh well.. 21 hours to go ��

Yes, it could be a girl because it IS just a guess! There are always exceptions to the rule!

And me nahri.. The last few days I've had 2/3 girl guesses, whereas before that they've been all boys hahah! So I'm even more curious now! My scan isn't until 5.35pm and I am working 9-2.30pm so hopefully the day will go quick and it will soon be here :)
