12 week scan skull/nub guesses please

12+2wks baby being ridiculously uncooperative :-( not even sure I can make out a nub :-(
Any guesses greatly appreciated. Please be honest.
For some reason I'm really feeling boy.

Ps will be having another scan at 13+3wks and a gender scan around 14-14-15weeks more than likely.

Thank you for the guesses. I got home and showed hubby and we got the other kids scans out. The ones from my first 2 are really bad quality but the one from my youngest is very clear. After comparing them hubby said he doesn't think it looks anything like our youngest so based on that he'd say girl. Then I explained skull theory and showed him the example photos in the pinned thread. As soon as he saw that he said well I would say it's a girl. So of course now he's got my hopes up. Argh I hate not knowing! My thoughts of going team green are definitely out the window!

Not sure either to be honest... Not an expert, but the skull looks sorta flatish.... That means girl I think. Isn't the boys skull theory that it's round and slopes? I hope you get your dd. did you sway? What were you doing before your conceived? Going team green is insanely hard. I'd find out if I had to do it over again. I drove myself crazy. Good luck

OK girls, I had another scan today at 13+3 and was hoping to get a good nub shot but baby was head down and facing front so terrible view all round :-( couldn't see profile or nub :-( but I did get the films from the previous scan and I think there is a better pic than the first one I posted. Please have a look and let me know what you think.24241

potty shot from the same scan at 12+2. I know potty shots can go either way at this point but thought I'd add it anyway in case people had any thoughts on it.

Dont take this to heart in any way because I could be totally reaching. I THOUGHT I may have seen a boy nub in the first set but wasn't totally sure it was the nub and maybe some noise. I see the same possibly angled formation in the 13/3 scan which is the exact same shape as the potty shot and in the EXACT same spot. But of course potty shot can go either way as they still can sorta look the same. What throws me is the slightly girly shape to it still. It could have just been a bad angle creating the angle. Your 15 week scan could be the tell all if your tech is comfortable guessing at that stage and of course update us so we can give the best guess we can.

Thank you for your thoughts nahri. I really do want honest opinions as I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm going for a private gender scan at 15 weeks so they will definitely tell me if they can.
All the scans I've posted were from the same scan at 12+2 and bub was not cooperative and curling up and kicking it's legs furiously.

leg kicking definitely will make things seem what they aren't at my 15 week elective it was such a roller coaster because one wrong move and she became he right before my eyes all because of movement, the tech changing the plane, or leg kicking/crossing. Took 12 minutes to get JUST the gender.

I've seen a potty shot on here looking like yours (it got all girl guesses) turning out to be a boy. But I really do hope you get to hear girl tomorrow!

Thanks Claire yes I've seen at least half a dozen very similar potty shots in the last couple of weeks of nubsessing and most have turned out to be girl but 2 I've seen have turned out to be boy. Hubby is sure it's a girl. I just don't know if I'm feeling boy to prepare myself in case I hear blue or if it's a true gut feeling of what baby is. Oh well 12 hours to go and hopefully baby is cooperating and we'll know!

It's a ..........maybe baby boy?

Bub was being very uncooperative and during about an hour of scanning we only got 1 very short glimpse. Tech said she thinks boy but way less than 80% sure as she couldnt see any signs of scrotum. The cord was also between the legs and bub had both its hands down there a lot of the time too. She said what we saw could be the start of a penis, a swollen clitoris/nub still shrinking, a bit of cord, she really wasn't confident so she has offered to scan me again for free in a week and a half at 17+4 weeks and hopefully bub is more cooperative and the nub will have grown or disappeared.
My daughter was disappointed to hear her say boy. My hubby, mum and step dad are all team girl still and I'm 50/50 as part of me expected to hear boy but my other 2 boys were confirmed at the exact same gestation and there was no doubting their penis and scrotum was exactly that! So the wait continues. In the meantime I'm back to obsessing over the pic we did get and I've found 2 very similar online and 1 was a boy and 1 was a girl.24501

Sorry you heard most likely boy. I have to admit that the 3D pic looks like the baby has a penis. But I am no expert at 3D. GL in 1.5 weeks!
