Hi! I need help/opinions/suggestions/ANYTHING. My husband and I have been talking about TTC late spring/early summer and we decided last night that sooner would be better than later. SO I will be calling my OB within the next week or two to have my Mirena removed so we can begin trying. Lots of questions: I naturally have a more girl friendly diet, but is there anything I can do to put it into high gear for TTC soon? I naturally sway girl but it's definitely a lazy one. Does anyone have any experience with TTC right after Mirena removal? Atomic said tracking ovulation while I still have it in is pointless, but I want my odds of conceiving a girl to be high so should I wait until AF comes back? I would rather not bc I've read it can take a few weeks to a couple months for it to return. Without birth control my periods have been pretty inconsistent. Any suggestions would be so greatly appreciated. Its go time for us & we are so excited! We already have 2 girls but would love a 3rd since we have all the clothes, products and everything for a girl already. We would obviously be thrilled for a boy but want to sway our chances as much as we can for another girl. Thank you!!

Usually with a Mirena we like pink swayers to try to catch the first egg coming off it. But if you might not O for a while after removal I'm not sure what to suggest. Could you get clomid/femara to help with the irregular AFs and bringing on O?
Otherwise 12w on the LE diet & 60+ minutes daily cardio, then one attempt at positive OPK when you ready to TTC, is a strong pink sway. Add in clomid/femara or first egg off mjrena for an even stronger sway.
Good luck!

When coming off the Mirena I think it is best to either use OPK to tell you when ovulation is approaching or do the every 4 day method to be sure you're in with an attempt.
THere is NO benefit to tracking your cycle for pink. None whatsoever. I wouldn't even bother with it if you are not already doing it. All it does is keep swaying in the forefront of your mind all the time.
RE diet I'd ust drop snacks, start skipping breakfast, go vegetarian (although since you already have the girls, I'd prob. do basically what you did before!). There's no benefit to getting super strict now, and that may delay ovulation from returning.

I'd say keep doing what you're doing! Pretty successful so far :)
