Just wondering if there's anyone who'll be ttc in June. Would love some ttc June buddies to talk/share with!

If I don't conceive this cycle, which is unlikely since I probably need meds at this point to conceive (very short LP), I will try in June/July if I have a chance of a DD close to April 1st. Otherwise I will be on TTC break until December. But hopefully with med support I can try that one cycle, maybe even manipulate the timing.

I still can't decide between May or June right now. But hubby wants June a bit more so we might aim for that. I am still pretty sure it will be a last minute decision if we decide to try in May.

Hi princess Charlotte! I'm getting more excited than nervous sometimes it feels so far away other times just around the corner. Have you started le diet? Really happy to have ttc buddies I've been following the March 2ww thread and there's been 2 bfps in as many days! Hopefully that'll be us come June!

I'll be ttc a girl in June! I'm sure it's totally normal, but I'm already so scared about getting my hopes up, or being disappointed if I don't get a girl. It's so scary to be out of control.

Hi Laurenk! I know what you mean about the no control thing lol. I feel really prepared for my attempt though so that's some consolation! I've been debating whether to find out the gender or not (assuming I get pregnant! ) as I'll be going through c-section again and I think not knowing with ds2 really helped as I was so excited to meet him and find out that I didn't feel any GD.

Anyone else debating team green? Being my last I really can't decide if I want to know or not. Found out with ds1, didn't with ds2 (although sonographer dropped the (his) word during 20 week scan after I said I didn't want to know. I never confirmed so I really didn't know as such. This time I cant decide whether just to find out or wear headphones to ultrasounds lol and not look at screen! Even tho I dont really know what I'm looking at. Being my last I'm leaning towards not finding out, I mean I'm doing everything I can to sway girl through plan, mentally and spiritually/mentally (only just recently started looking/doing something with this) so for the first time I really feel like I've got a 50/50 chance!!!

Yes!!! I am debating team green. I have always found out with mine so I want to know what it would be like to go team green for once. It would be hard though because DH does not want to go team green at all. He says that I can go team green if I want to but he would like to find out. So would he really be able to keep it from me? It would be tough I think.

Pbn3
March 22nd, 2015, 04:57 PM
My dh wants to find out to!! I told him he could if he wants but he couldn't tell anyone else! I don't think he'd like being the only one to know though so I think he'll end up getting on board team green when the time came. We were only talking about it yesterday and he said why are we even discussing this we're not even ttc yet lol :)

I will be trying to find out gender ASAP! Hopefully by 10w via blood test. But I think with a 3rd child once I had 2 of my DG (girls) I might try team green. I only want one early ultrasound per pregnancy so it would be pretty easy to go team green.

Hi ladies! This is what I meant by the 'spiritual' part of my sway. Have ordered the following necklace plus a chunk of pure rose quartz and a salt lamp. Can't hurt to try right :) Thought the necklace was to pretty not to share!http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/23/e19f04f6da9c9646e6e8a77be6f93464.jpg

Welcome hitmebabyonemoretime! 12 weeks on le diet has gotten good results. Have you started on diet? From your post I'm assuming you were ttc last cycle? June would give you time to have a good sway chance but I guess it depends if your wanting to get pregnant sooner than later! Whatever you decide wishing you best of luck and keep us updated!

ThaNk you! Actually this is my first AF since having my baby mar 29 2014! So I have been practicing LE but very loosely. Mostly I skip breakfast every day and I've cut back on meat but I still snack and probably eat too many fatty foods.

I'm kinda on the same plan - not bc of meds but bc of my profession... Tbh I wish I could confidently try in May - heck April would be better, but I've not been doing the diet (properly) or exercise (at all) and the only reason I didn't go hard all this time was bc I was waiting for af to return since having ds4, and I've read hard diet changes can prolong that even more. Ugh. Idk what to do.

I'm doing the le diet but not exercising as I knew I couldn't commit to keeping it up. I've got a personalised plan which is great - are you in a position to get one? If you're wanting to do best possible sway in shorter amount of time I'm sure you'll get a lot of ideas from all the forums. I can say for me the diet at this stage has appeared to affect af but as in shorter cycle and lasting only 3 days instead of 6. But this is my first cycle since I've been on diet and have another 3 before I'll be ttc. I'm also temping and charting to pin point ovulation and I'll be using opks although the ones I used last cycle were all negative! hence starting to temp. Hoping for confirmation that everything is working right this cycle!

Ya I've always assumed I'd get one, but this is my slow period (wedding photog) and cash flow is tighter. Gotta talk to Dh - he's on board to take supps and stuff but bc of age we need to relearn what we can do. I obsessed over the articles when ollie was born knowing we'd try one more time but time when af decided to never show up I put it all on the back burner except for skipping breaky which was the hardest thing for me to do, and now it's habit.

Pbn3, which brand of OPKs did you use? What time(s) of day did you test? What CDs did you test on? How long is your cycle on average?(I'm thinking maybe you O earlier or later than you realize.) And how dark was the darkest OPK you got?

Hitme, I can understand why you want to wait but also really don't! I do think with 4 sons you should do the strongest possible sway, even if that means waiting. Can you get clomid or femara to stimulate O? That would help your pink sway too. I'd also recommend reading & posting in the 'what I ate today' LE thread to help give you ideas of how to eat and to stay strict on the diet by being accountable. The diet seems/sounds much more difficult than it is. Once you get into it, it's very doable. Exercise is similar I find, it's the motivation to get started that is most overwhelming.

I would love to get chlomid but not a chance in hell
My doc would rx me. I've never heard of femara
I'm going to do the exercise like a mad woman as soon as af goes (it's killing me!!!) and it's finally nice to go out and do something instead of hopping around the house watching the clock the whole time. Is it still one hour a day that's recommended?

Femara works like Clomid to stimulate O and also sways pink. You could go to another dr or order it online if you're in the US or UK.

60 min minimum uninterrupted cardio daily, more is great if you have time & weight to spare.

Just folic acid, no prenatals!

I'm in Canada - so femara is an rx also? Like I'm 38 so he won't give me anything - I've been afraid to order Chlomd online... Just I would have no idea of what I got was the real thing or safe, but the thought has repeatedly crossed my mind.

Femara is Rx also, yes. And actually it's better for women over 35 than Clomid. The online pharmacy I used when I lived in the US is great, I personally tested all the meds I ordered from them the first few years as I was teaching organic chem at a university and had access to GC/MS equipment at the time. All the dozen to twenty or so meds I ordered were what they were supposed to be. I only checked a few for dosage as that's more of a hassle but the few I checked were the stated dose. Unfortunately they don't ship to Germany so I haven't ordered from them since 2012. And I checked, they don't ship to Canada either. Both our countries have very restrictive Rx drug laws. :(

Maidenmother I bought cheap ones on the internet. My cycle in normally 27-29 days. I tested from cd8 through to cd15. I had a faint line cd12 and stronger but still visibly lighter line cd13. In the past i pretty much oed cd14 like clockwork. Was testing between 1pm and 4pm. The other thing I really noticed was lack of egcm. I normally have alot of it around o but had very little last cycle. Am really paying attention this cycle and recording everything. I started temping in last week of last cycle and it has dropped with af so I think I definitely oed. Am going to buy some decent probably digital opks in my ttc month. Will get them for the month before as well so no surprises :)

Pbn3

Oh and this cycle am still going to use cheap opks but test twice a day 10am and 3pm. Hoping to see if faint line coincides with temp spike :)

Is there alternative reasons that my doc might agree to rx the femara?

Femara is out. I just read it's pretty dangerous while nursing, whereas clom has minimal risks other than your milk supply but bc he's eating solids and drinking other things it's a seemingly viable option, Except for my age...

Pbn3, I think you stopped testing with OPKs too soon. I also have an average 28 day cycle but I O around CD18 on average (CD16-20), so most months I wouldn't get a positive OPK until after CD15. Swaying pink often delays O, too.

Hitme, you'd have to stop nursing for either med. Femara is only used for cancer and fertility. I am sure there are online pharmacies that ship to Canada but I wouldn't use one unless someone I trusted recommended it or I could test the meds myself. In addition to the issue of getting real meds, some online pharmacies will sell your credit card info/use it themselves for fraud.

Ya I can't risk that. I did read (can't remember which sites) that chlomid was safe bc it produces the same hormones that naturally occur anyway.... I know my doc won't give it to me anyways.

Is anyone else struggling with metamucil? I just cant seem to remember to take it half the time and I find it extremely hard to take. Im gagging just trying to get it down. I very rarely have more than 30% fat of days calories I try to average around 25-30% how crucial is metamucil to my sway because I will find an alternative fibre supplement to take if its important to sway. I didn't want to bother Atomic with this in case its common knowledge thought I'd check with you guys first :)

So its almost the end of March. I'm getting so excited about June, have started watching those baby shows every now on tv and it's just making me more keen! On the other hand I'm so happy I have this time to optimise my chance for girl, monitor my cycles etc before ttc. I think knowing this is my last baby is making me more (reflective/nostalgic) not sure of the right word but I know I'm going to enjoy every bit of this last pregnancy (famous last words lol) when it happens as I'll never have that chance again. I'm also pretty sure I'm going team green as once again I'll never have a chance again at that suspensful surprise. Think I'll ask the us tech if its ok they not talk this time around though and only look at head shots of baby if that's possible. Sorry to rave on its just this is the only place I can talk about how I'm feeling. No one knows we'll be ttc my mum kind of does and says she supports whatever decision I make but I know deep down she doesn't think it's a good idea probably because of me and dh age.

I can relate - last kick at the can... Whatever happens, happens. I'm nervous though bc I don't have the time to really track my cycles. This first month I learned nothing about O time. So that's month one down. Hard to go for FR and one attempt when you don't know when O is. So this coming month im going to charT which I didn't plan to do at all.... I didn't need to obsess but I kinda want to know when o day will be..
