Team yellow, BUUUT ....

I had my 16 week ultrasound at the specialist... So very high tech equipment. We told the tech we were team yellow, but as soon as she put the ultrasound wand on my stomach, there was a potty shot! She did not keep it there long at all, knowing we didn't want to know. But I did not see a penis. I saw one white line, where the three lines generally appear. Nothing sticking out from the body. If there would have been a smaller white line on either side of the one I saw, I would have been convinced that we knew. I've looked at hundreds of potty shots on here, and the penis always seems pretty obvious. Do you think this means girl, or just that it takes more prodding around to see a penis sometimes...I'm doubting we will stay team yellow. It's too hard. Lol

As you say, at 16 weeks a little boy would/should be obvious! If you think you saw three lines in that short space of time, then it *could* be a girl. Shame we don't have a piccie to see what you saw! ;) x

I know!! I almost asked her to stop for a pic, but didn't wanna sound stupid after just telling her we didn't wanna know. Lol I only saw one line though, not three.... But it wasn't protruding at all... Just where the girl parts would be...

depends on the angle if it wasnt a perfect "butt on a glass window" angle it can always be deceiving

my daughter's potty shot was obvious in just a quick glimpse (my dr. office would not tell gender till a later ultrasound) but I have seen a lot of shots where they just didn't quite manage to get the peeper in the shot.

Thanks!! I go back April 20th for 20 week... Its gonna take a lot of will power to keep my eyes closed when they scan the potty region!
