No fertile cm :(

I am on a higher dose of clomid this month. Treatment for mild PCOS.

I had been taking EPO but stopped 2 days ago as I had spotting everyday from cd 9. Today is cd11 and still seeing some red when checking cm.

Scan yesterday showed 2 follies on right side but I am concerned about lack of cm.

Mucinex tablets didn't arrive in time so I have just been drinking as much water as possible.

Is there anything else I can be doing? It is likely I will have trigger shot tomorrow night.

Maybe add some preseed. It is also recommended for blue sways! Good luck!

Yes agree with pre-seed, also are you drinking enough? I have never had huge amounts of CM but I'm drinking 1ltr of water with fresh lemon added everyday and hot lemon water in the morning with breakfast - I have noticed a huge increase in CM all cycle since I started.

:agree: YES. Grapefruit juice always does the trick for me, REALLY, you will see results within a couple of days!!!

I tried grapefruit last cycle with no success.

Estrogen over 2000 today and follies are 18mm and 15mm. Was given trigger this morning and now just waiting to ovulate.

I am hoping the 2 eggs give me twice the chance to get a bfp even with the cm issue.

Each cycle can be different though, and if you weren't etting EWCM because you didn't have enough raw materials, then it may be smart to try something a second time to see if you get better results. With that level of E you should be getting some/ :)

We have already decided to have a break next month if this cycle doesn't work. To give both my sanity and lining a break. Thankfully the ovulation confirmation scan and blood tests showed both ovulation and a lining of 10mm up from 6.5mm on the Thursday before (day of trigger).

Hopefully to save enough for one last clomid attempt with IUI.

I am not understanding the lack of ewcm especially with the estrogen level. I am hoping it just wasn't showing during checks or something? I know it surged very quickly though- from 1100 to 2225 in 2 days.

I never really had EWCM which is why I used preseed with each attempt and I got a boy. I have heard that clomid can also dry you up

That's what I think, you probably had some and it just didn't make its way out. I've gotten boys in months I had no visible CM (and one of them when I didn't even KNOW what it was haha)
