I'm 10 weeks and swear that I am feeling the baby move every now and then! Like little flutters!
I'm so sick still though [emoji20]. I dread eating dinner for I know I'll feel ill until i can take another dose of Diclegis.
Only four weeks till my 13week and 5days scan! I'll also have the MaterniT21 blood work drawn then too. Eek!
How is everyone else doing?

XX-I bet it is flutters. My OB said she felt hers at 9 weeks and she would know if it's true or not.
I just had an extremely quick ultrasound to just ease fears (don't tell DH, official one is Friday) I'm 6w1d, according to LMP I should be 5w6d so perfect. Only one bean! (Secretly hoping for two) I kept asking if implanted on left and she said "you don't have left or right. It implanted on top"

Anyone else starting to show yet? I'm 10weeks and haven't gained any weight yet, but I already look pregnant! I know it's my third and my body has muscle memory from doing this before, but geez! We have already told people, because I clearly look pregnant [emoji53][emoji4]

I had my first scan yesterday and it was amazing. My MS disappeared at exactly 9 weeks so I was secretly freaking out and desperate for that reassurance. My baby was there, heart beating at 169 and measured at exactly 9w5d which is what I was yesterday. Phew... A load off. I'm having the chromosome blood test next week and my ob said I should have the results by the end of next week.. Gender and all. I'm extremely nervous... Just want all to be OK.
Girls, I really feel for those of you still feeling sick. Its so horrible and I hope it gets better soon.
I've put on weight but don't look pregnant yet. I looked more pregnant at This time in my 2nd pregnancy. I've told alot of people though because I'm so excited [emoji4]

Yay! Glad everything is ok Sunbuny! I have my next scan in 3.5 weeks and will know what we are having a week from then.
I'm only 5ft 4in so I think that is why I'm showing early. I'm just so happy to be pregnant again despite being so sick. I keep thinking about nursing and snuggling with another newborn and that makes the sickness worth it [emoji4]!!

I'm having waves of icks even with the unisom/b6. It's like a trouble deciding what to eat/not eat feeling. I have to grocery shop tomorrow and I'm dreading it. Have no idea what to buy. I'm normally really good at meal planning but I have no idea what I want to eat from day to day.
I am sooo bloated/pregnant looking. Thinking back, I was like this with my boys too. I remember people asking when I was due before I wanted to announce the pregnancy. Can't wait to announce so I can let the bloat fly free. Haha. Anybody have thoughts on finding out gender early? I'm wondering if the pregnancy will "drag" more if we find out so early. Granted, I need all the time to prepare for GD but still

I'm with you Smarston! I have let the bloat fly free! I feel so much more comfortable! Plus, for Mother's Day DH and the boys bought me three CUTE pairs of capris (elastic waist band of course!) and two pairs of Birkenstock sandals [emoji4]. So yeah, you can tell I'm pregnant, but I'm comfortable and happy!!

I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. Not feeling too bad. Feel a bit nauseous when I haven't eaten for a while. At the moment I'm just too scared to enjoy being pregnant in case something goes wrong again.

Smarston, if you are interested in the Ramzi prediction method, then next time you have an u/s ask about the chorionic villi in relation to the fetus. The method is not about where you implanted in your uterus... Most the time where you implant depends most on what side you ovulated from, and although there are theories about gender and which ovary ovulated, this particular theory is not linked with that. What matters is whether the baby is to the left or right of what will eventually become the placenta, inside the membrane.
Good luck Friday!
Sunbuny, so happy you got to see your little baby! I am totally going to get the blood test, because I'm 37 so I want the reassurance of the genetic results, and I would like to know gender for sure before I see another penis in a sonogram haha.
XX- I'm glad you're comfy! And happy you can look forward to those snuggles even with being so sick.
Eleena, I am the same, scared to hope that all is going to go well. Just have to wait this out :(
AFM, just plugging along. Still terrified I might have twins, as I don't think DH will take that very well at all. Starting to have more MS, before I eat, after I eat, etc, but no food aversions, just nausea. First u/s is confirmed for May 11, 3:30 eastern.

I'm so jealous that you are all seeing your beans! I didn't want to go in for a long time (1st appt is set for June 9th) but I might go in earlier to get a Zofran Rx. I am having good days and bad days. I tried the Unisom/B6 combo and it worked on Sunday. Had my worst day yet on Monday and am so-so today. Considering I stay sick for so long and have a trip coming up, I am going to need the meds!
I can feel my uterus getting bigger that's for sure! It's my 6th pregnancy so it's no surprise that my tummy has all but given up. Lol. I'm a little worried about twins as well, Temerity! My very first BFP was at 13 dpo and it was darker than I'd ever seen a test. I usually only get light ones if at all by then. A week later I took another and it was even darker! Plus I started getting sick days after I found out...I usually have 3-4 weeks before I get sick. And I've been sooooooo sleepy. Was only sleepy with baby #1 and it was less than this. Maybe I'm just getting old but I will be relieved to see one baby on the ultrasound.
Hope you are all getting some relief! I'm hoping to feel better by mid August. This is going to be a miserable summer in the desert! :(

May 5th, 2015, 09:20 PM
5babies- you could very well just have one bean in there! I got a VERY dark hpt on 10DPO and the darkest ever on 13DPO! Plus, my first beta hcg came back at 22,516 and my second two days later was 32,682! My OB was going to be happy anything over 2,000 and mine was. 5X that! My dates are what I knew they would be, and I only have one baby in there! But with such high HcG levels that explains why I'm so sick [emoji20][emoji4]!
Today was the best day ever with extremely mild MS. I'm hoping that I'm turning a corner, but we'll see what tomorrow brings.
Good to hear from you 5babies! I hope your MS doesn't last as long for you this time, for your sake!

Five babies-I got a blaring positive on 9DPO in the afternoon and there's only one bean. I'm also more tired then l've ever been. Which is why I thought there would be more then one bean (not to mention I know I ovulated two confirmed by ultrasound) I hope the zofran gives you some relief. It never worked for me. Quite frankly, the taste makes me nauseous

I'm not sure this would help with MS. I'm Leary of taking homeopathic mess while pregnant though. Someone once recommended Kava tea for me, and I had a anaphylactic reaction to it! Yikes!

I probably will both in my second and third trimesters. I supposedly had late onset GD with DS2, although every time I monitored my BS levels they were always normal. I think they'll make me do another 1 hour one in the second trimester and the two hour one in the third trimester (that is the one I failed with DS2).

Welcome Seabee! I wonder if you have a SCH. I had one. My spotting started 23DPO and lasted for 3 days. It was bright red only when I wiped or checked and never on my panty liner. By the third day it was brown. Then 18 days later it came back, same as before but lighter, and then again 5 days after that after sex. It is now completely gone. My first US showed a small clot behind the amniotic sac that measured 1cm in diameter. The second round of spotting occurred after the clot broke off. The baby is completely fine and my OB said it is nothing to worry about. Apparently it happens a lot. He said that the baby just found a great blood supply!
I hope all stays well! Keep us posted!

Welcome Seabee! So excited for you. I also had a SCH with my last baby that lasted from 5 weeks until past 10 weeks. All healed up though.
XX- congrats on passing your glucose test!!! I truly understand how exciting that is. Lol.
AFM, went to the Dr today (was spotting even more this AM) had an u/s and thankfully only saw 1 tiny bean in there! No SCH this time so thinks it make be my cervix bleeding but isn't concerned. Baby is measuring right on track with my due date. Had blood draw for betas (which I've never had done) so I'll be curious to hear more about that. Unfortunately that was my only u/s until the 18-20 week one so no nub shot for me to obsess over later. :(

Can you guys tell what side baby implanted on if I post a pic of my vaginal u/s?
XXforhubby
May 7th, 2015, 04:51 PM
When you look at the pic, the baby implanted on whichever side you see it on. Right, is right, and left is left. You only need to switch sides for an abdominal US. In that case right is left and left is right.

Glad to hear all is well and only one babe in there, fiveBabies! I would love to see your ultrasound. The thing with a photo is that the sonographer can change the aspect view, so unless you clarify during the scan which is right and which is left, it might not be as straightforward as it seems.

I always thought left side sleeper = girl and right side sleeper = boy too. I always slept in my right side with my boys. I became a left side sleeper due to DS2 needing me to sleep with him when he wakes. Who knows anyway! I don't think these things sway much

So I got woken up from putting DS2 to bed with HORRIBLE heartburn! It started at 5:00pm and I took my two doses of Zantac (Tums stopped working for me). I called the after hours nurse and she told me to take either 2 Tbsp of Mylanta/Maalox, or 20mg of Pepcid (Famotidine). So far I think the Mylanta did the trick. Ugh! If it's not one thing it's another! This baby better be the sweetest, most flexible, cuddly baby after all I've been through so far [emoji4]!

Hi ladies :) and happy Mother's Day
Need to confirm pregnancy with blood work, so hopefuy this isn't too premature. I will be due mid-January 2016.
I was feeling slight cramps during the 2ww, headaches and getting random pimples which I have never gotten (past pregnancies or af).
I have zero appetite and everything tastes too salty and spicy. Is this a function of swaying pink?

Happy Mother's Day!
It is really hard not to look into all those signs and OWT.
My first US will be on Friday, can't wait anymore. Looks like i will only have 11 week us and 15 week us, so there is no nub shot for me.
i will ask about the blood test but I doubt they will let me do that since I'm not over 35 yet.
Have anyone heard about the blood test TellMeBoyorGirl? Is it another scam?
The waiting game is sooooo hard:)

Feeling worried now. Since Friday I have felt like I have been having hot flushes and stomach pains and felt nauseous. I thought it was the start of pregnancy symptoms. This morning I feel fine. It was either a virus or I'm not pregnant anymore. I've had no spotting. Should I be worried? Last time my symptoms didn't start till around 6 1/2 weeks

I wouldn't worry since you haven't had any spotting. Pregnancy symptoms can ebb and flow. I would at be are your OB or midwife to have beta HcG levels drawn, if you're worried.
Hang in there! I know it's hard not to over analyze every twinge, ache, and symptom.

Hey girls! Huge congrats to everyone here! Hoping for everyone to get their happy & healthy desired gender :fx:
I just tested positive today, after what seemed to be a looong time lol, this was a big surprise so am still very shocked. Have decided not to tell anyone yet as DH and I still need to process this event and don't want others triggering my GD with their silly comments. Think I'm having a bloodtest tomorrow morning to see how my levels are. And then phone the hospital for my meds and monitoring. Eleena, like you I also had hot flushes, but they are gone now. I think mine were caused because I had a really bad cold last week, with loads of sweating involved. Now I'm cold again, as usual lol.
Any other girls out here who had a surprise BFP? I didn't sway and my plan was to go HT to ensure gender. I have been longing for a daughter since my first baby, a girl, passed away. We went on to have 2 gorgeous boys. DH was fine with two kids, but I wanted to try one more time for a girl. The plan was to go to CZ next year, but this baby had other plans, cheeky little thing! :HH:

I'm just waiting to get my blood taken. This is it girls! In about a week I should know the results of chromosome testing AND the gender! Ow how cute you feel baby move already, XX! I love it when thos elittle ones flutter around. Not so much when they weight 9 lbs and try to kick their way out through my ribs lol.
Seabee, spotting is never nice to see during pregnancy! I had it with Ds2 and was so worried. Appearently I had a yeast infction which caused the spotting. I hope it's a similar reason for you and baby is alright!
Sunbuny, wow in a week already!! What type of testing did you do? I'm stil contemplating it. It's so very expensive to do and with the move I just can't justify spending this much on something I will find out eventually. Unless there is a medical reason of course. But it's hard and I really wish I could find out now!! lol
I haven't been so well today. Saw my gp this morning about seeing blind spots and she referred me to the hospital to see if I haven't had a stroke. Will be at the hospital the entire day tomorrow for scans, bloodwork and what not. I really don't think it's been a stroke, but a type of migraine. But still want this checked out.

The blood test I had was for some chromosomes abnormality like down syndrome, Edwards syndrome and several other things. Results apparently take 5 days. It is pricey but I have to pay either way for testing, whether it be the older less reliable testing or this newer one.

Sunbuny- I'm so excited for you to be able to find out what your having soon!!! Eek! Thanks for asking! I'm doing FAB! Heartburn is gone now that I'm taking the Zantac twice a day now. My blood pressure is normal after stopping the Diclegis. For MS I'm taking Zyrtec at night and B6 twice a day. The Unisom (Doxalamine Succinate) made my BP high. It is an anticholinergic antihistamine (it dilates your vessels which can increase your pressure), which is different than a plain antihistamine like Zyrtec, Benadryl, etc. I felt so good I worked out to my beloved T25! I love ShaunT!!

XX that is interesting about unisom- I wonder if that's why I had higher BP today. I thought it was nerves.
So I had my first appointment and ultrasound today. All looks good, only one baby (phew!) and measuring right on time. I did ask the tech about Ramzi, and she had never heard of it before. So I explained about the chorionic villi and left/right, and she said, as she looked at the screen, that she had no idea how anyone would be able to tell where the attachment was! I asked about color flow, and she said she won't use a Doppler so early in the pregnancy. So once again, my tech experience was less than ideal lol. From the picture it looks left to me, but on the screen it was opposite, and I didn't get a chance to ask her which was left before she shut me down. So oh well- I'll have to wait to do the DNA testing :)25159

No little bundle of joy for me in 9 months. Blood test came back with very low hcg levels, too low for a viable pregnancy. Need to go back to gp next week and repeat the test, because she thinks the baby implanted later and as long as I don't have AF there is a chance. But in my heart I know it's over. Temerity
May 14th, 2015, 03:54 PM
Sea, 4 days is not that far off, these early dating scans can be very different with just the smallest change in measurement, and that measurement relies on a cooperative uterus and skilled technician. What one person measures as 4 days off might be only 1 day off with another person holding the wand.
Eleena, I didn't have nausea until after 6 weeks, and then it was very mild and just progressively got worse over the last week.

Hi everyone.. I thought I should come over to this group but I'm still a bit nervous about it as I will only be 4wks tomorrow. So far everything has been going fine but its always hard not to worry!
I have an appointment booked with my Dr already as I was supposed to be going back to get my day 3 blood and ultrasound results to see if there was any reason for my long cycles and mid-cycle spotting. I was also hoping to get a referral to a specialist but looks like I didn't need that! Instead I will see if I can get a referral for a pregnancy ultrasound, I think I would feel better once I have a 7wk scan and see a heartbeat.
Is anyone getting a prenatal blood test? I looked at the Harmony one and even though the price has gone down it is still a lot of money so I'm not sure I can justify it. Although I don't want to tell anyone I'm pregnant until I know the gender so it might be difficult to keep it secret long enough to find out from a scan.
XXforhubby
May 15th, 2015, 07:36 AM
Welcome Purple! I know what you mean wanting to see a heartbeat! At my dating scan, I was 5 weeks 6 days, we saw the heartbeat 137 BPM!! It was a big relief! Then at my routine appointment when I was 8 weeks 5 days, my OB brought in his portable US machine and baby looked like a baby and was doing great! I can't wait to hear about your upcoming appointment. Hang in there though!!
DH wants to do the MaterniT21, since it is offered at a cheaper rate at my hospital. If insurance doesn't pick up the cost, it will be $200. I just can't justify the cost though, since we only did the two scans, NT and anatomy, with both boys. I go back and forth. My NT scan will be at 13 weeks 5 days so we should have a good idea of gender. We will see!!

It's $430 here for the Harmony test and none if it is covered by medicare or insurance (not that we have private health anyway). I found a place that does gender scans at 16wks for $99 or if I wait until 20-21wks the morph scan is free. I already know I can't wait that long! I'm not sure I want an NT scan as I will obsess over the nub and last time I was told it looked girly so I just got my hopes up.

Mine have NEVER looked girly so I will fall out if I see anything flat and parallel!
The biggest difference with this pregnancy and my pregnancies with my boys is my lack of a raging appetite. Even with MS I was still hungry with them. I can maintain a 12 hour fast easily between dinner and breakfast still at 11 weeks! We will see though. This baby is loved either way!

It cost $435, no cover from Medicare or private health insurance. Last pregnancy though I paid over $300 for the NT scan which didn't tell me gender. Had my first US today, yay for the heartbeat which is 183:omg:
I'm also measuring 3 days behind, but my Dr said it is nothing to worry at this early stage.
They also gave me a number for Maternity 21 test to see if I can negotiate the price with them. If not i can have a gender scan at 16 weeks, also was able to book next us a little bit over 12 weeks, so hopefully will have a nice nub shot:)
I was training to ask where the baby attached, the tech said it is in the middle on top, she was also trying to figure out from what ovary I ovulated, but was unable to detect it. When she was looking at the baby she moved the cursor on the left, when she was searching for the sack she was on the right, if to look at the pic by ramzi the baby is on the left if to flip the image. It is extremely hard not to look at those OWT like measuring behind, heart rate and the side:think:

I hate this stage. Hate it with a passion. Too many unknowns. I'd just love to fast forward to 20 weeks when I get to start feeling better and stop guessing if my pregnancy is viable. :(
Awe fivebabies I completely understand what you are feeling. It is a non stop worry isn't it? Hugs to you!

Are you in Australia Purple? I had the Genea test done on Monday and the results are already back EXCEPT my Dr was not in his office so we'll have to wait till Monday before we find out. It cost $435, no cover from Medicare or private health insurance. Last pregnancy though I paid over $300 for the NT scan which didn't tell me gender. I'm happy to shell out the money for peace of mind regarding health and will be great to find out gender early too.
Yes I'm in Australia but in SA so it doesn't look like they have any collection centres near here. Anyway, when I mentioned the test option to DH he didn't seem too keen about paying for it. We didn't get charged for the NT scan for DS1 but did pay for DS2 but I think it was under $200.

Wow, the costs really differ don't they depending on where we're based... It is alot of money and if you can find out the results anyway you really have to weigh it up. I want to give myself time to come to terms and be happy about the gender if it is boy. I know I'll end up being happy no matter what but I want time to grieve a girl for a few weeks ( if my bean is a boy ) before announcing it to the world.

Yeah that is why I want to find out before birth too. I was toying with the idea of having a surprise but I don't think I can do it as I can't deal with other people comments. I guess its just a matter of when we can find out... maybe the price will drop again in the next month and a half :)
Good luck when you get your results! I really hope you hear girl! Do you find out tomorrow?

Yes... I rang the Dr on Friday and the results were in although he wasn't. I'm guessing he'll call us tomorrow. My fingers are crossed however despite all the changes I made before conceiving this time I think I'll be stunned if it's a girl. I'll definitely let you all know although I may lay low for a while afterwards... Just not sure how well I'll take it

Five, I'm sorry this is so difficult for you. This is my least favorite time, as well, not only because you just don't know what is going on and have few reassurances (as if feeling sick 24/7 was a reassurance) but I also start thinking about all the things I need to enjoy with my other kids now before I get all huge and pregnant (but of course I feel too sick to truly enjoy!). It's a catch 22.
Sun, I'm excited for you to get your results. I hope that you get your girl. I understand wanting to know before the day so that you can resolve your feelings before letting the world know. That's why I can never keep it a surprise, because even with my first I had to handle my disappointment for a little while.
I go back and forth between being excited to find out the sex and not wanting to know. Once I hear that result and it's boy, I won't be able to pretend I'll have a girl someday. It's really hard to stay optimistic. This pregnancy truly just feels meant to be, with the timing and it happening so quickly after so many months TTC my first two. So part of me thinks that either this must be my girl or a really determined boy, and I just have to accept that. But I'm not looking forward to the comments whatever the sex, because people always assume they know the situation and if it's a girl I will hear "Well now you don't have to keep trying" as if that's the only reason I have babies.

Okay - I got my news today
I can't believe it but ITS A GIRL!!!
I feel shocked, elated and like it has to be a mistake!!!
I asked the DR to call my DH but he rang me anyway. I told him to just let me know as I'd find out later today anyway. He kind of dragged it out - asked me what I wanted and what DH wanted and then said you're having a healthy baby girl. I swear I thought he must of made a mistake or that I dreamt it. I'M IN SHOCK. I really made myself this time around that I would be having another boy.
I haven't told many people yet - just DH, a close friend of mine who really understand gender disappointment and gender desire. I want to keep this amazing news to myself for a little longer and I want to work out how and who we actually tell. Teremity, IKWYM, I do dread peoples reactions of "finally, you got a girl", like my first 2 were fails or something. I'm so grateful for my 2 gorgeous boys and am glad that I had them first because if I had a PP who knows if we would of went on to have 3 - that is something I'll never know.
Anyway, enough about me. Fivebabies - I'm glad you're feeling a little better. I hope the time flies by for you and that you feel better and have the reassurance that everything is okay. I hope everybody else is doing well.
Love you all and thanks for all your good wishes today xxx

Elena, that is exactly the way I looked at it. I was more then prepared to hear boy today and I had already stated that I would be the family princess to my DH and to my boys (they are only 1 and 4 so didn't really understand). When I fell pregnant the most important thing to me that day was that we were actually pregnant - not what we were carrying. But I am glad I swayed (even if it were a boy) because I know I tried something different and it if was a boy then that just made him extra special.

Oh, and from what I've read and talked to the rep, the accuracy is extremely high. The opposite happens when you have a tumor in your body that can carry a Y chromosome so, the test will say boy even though it's a girl. So, that is NOT the case for you! Enjoy this wonderful moment!!

DO NOT drink any more than 2-3 12-16 oz. servings of Crystal Light a day. That is the proven safe level of Crystal Light. It doesn't work anyway so using more doesn't gain you anything.

XX that's great that you are going in sooner! I admire your commitment to gender swaying solely for your husband. I always wanted three babies, but in my dreams I had a mix of both sexes. Having two boys off the bat just put a lot more pressure on the third haha. I wish I had known more about swaying before I TTC my second, but then again I wouldn't trade my precious middle boy for anyone else. And I know when it comes down to it I won't regret a third boy, only that I won't ever have a daughter.

Ugh XX, I was really pulling for you to be through this by now! Hopefully it will magically disappear as you cross the line into the second tri. However, I have been reading that persistent sickness into the 2nd trimester may be related to liver function and that dandelion root tea is supposed to help. Has anyone heard or tried that?
I am 8.5 weeks and using Diclegis twice a day but I still get super nauseous every evening. I don't want to go to the max dose if I can avoid it, but I might have to just to see if it has an effect. No food aversions, thank goodness- everything sounds yummy and eating helps for a short period of time before the nausea just takes over. I'm feeling a lot of RL pain- abdomen pulls catch me by surprise when I stretch or even just try to sit up. And my poor other kiddos- mommy is crabby and tired and short tempered :( I try not to be short with them but it's hard when I'm fighting a rolling stomach and they are being difficult with me lol.

I can't take/drink Dandelion root tea, since I'm allergic to weeds. My nausea usually gets better in the second trimester. With DS1 by 13 weeks and with DS2 at 22 weeks. Who knows! Every pregnancy is different.
Be kind to yourself Temerity! I'm sure you're not as crabby as you think [emoji6]! I bet your kiddos just sense the changes within you and that is making them act in ways they wouldn't normally. I explained to both of my boys, ages 4.5yrs and 23mo, that mommy is growing a baby in her tummy. This makes me sleepy at times, my tummy to feel upset, and I may be grumpy because I don't feel well. I still love you both and want to play with you, but I may have to rest at times or change how I play. They were fine and have been great!

Thanks for the kind words, XX. I do try to remember to be gentle, both to myself and with my family. I haven't told the boys yet, so they have no clue why I'm grumpy. Our LOs are about the same age- I know my almost 5 year old will get it, but he will also tell the whole world, and I just don't know what I would say to him if things ended with no baby. He still frequently talks about our cat who passed almost a year ago. So I'm waiting until I get my NIPT results back to tell him, and that way we will hopefully also be able to tell him if it's a brother or sister.

Couldn't exercise again today- I'm having mild cramping and don't want to over do it. It's the normal stretching/cramping that comes with pregnancy. I pushed through it with DS2 (I had to I was working as a science teacher at the time), and it progressed to Braxton Hicks. So I'm resting/taking it easy itching to workout again. I guess I'll see what tomorrow brings. I remember these growing pains as I like to call them, lasted for about a week. Sigh. [emoji4]

So what's the best way to convince your m/s suffering wife to have sex with you? Well my husband learned what not to do last night, and that's come home and immediately announce to the children that the house is disgusting (it was messy with toys but far from what I would classify as "disgusting"), complain that the dinner wife made was not what she had told you she planned to make that morning, then after dinner sit on the couch with your iPad while your wife tries to clean up. Then at bedtime snap at the children and take loud, dramatic "calming" breaths to prove how patient you are being (when you haven't even seen said children for almost 48 hours and your wife has been dealing with them solo). Lastly, the best way to guarantee that you will not be having sex for the foreseeable future is to blame your wife for all of the above because she didn't explain to you in precise detail why she is sick and how long she expects it to last, so how could a husband be expected to be sympathetic?
Yeah. I'm still a little pissed.

Tem-TMI, however, I had sex with my husband last night so he would stop bitching about not having sex. I figured I'm good for another month. Also, I think I'm having another boy because I want absolutely, nothing to do with DH (like my little boy doesn't want to share me)
So, I've been suffering from about 4pm until midnight with MS, Icks, etc. took some diglesis samples from work so we'll see if that helps...praying for this to end. This was exactly how I felt with all my boys, so I'm convinced it's another boy.

Temerity- men don't get it! My DH is understanding on the clutter. I can't clean with my cleaners because it makes me puke every time and then have horrid nausea for the rest of the day. DH does the cleaning with cleaners, and I do the rest. As for sex, we only DTD once a week because I end up having terrible cramps about three hours afterward that last until the next day! Even with using a condom! Men just lack the ability to see other points of view when they don't fully understand a situation. WE would ask clarifying questions, but THEY can't see past their preconceived notions. What gets me is when we do fill them in on all of the details, they usually say something like, "Well if you would just communicate this to me, it wouldn't be an issue". I always say in response, "How about you give me the benefit of the doubt. I'm not a lazy ass! And you are fully capable of asking questions to find out an answer"! Yeah can you tell we have gone round and round too about the clutter! It wasn't until I felt like I had to clean with cleaner and then puke five times afterward did my DH finally get that I CAN'T clean our house! I do pick up because that is ALL I can can do! Yeah DH felt bad after that, and he hasn't mentioned it since! He better not anyway!!!
Smarston- hang in there! Symptoms aren't an indicator of what you're having. I had completely different symptoms with DS2 and he was a boy. This time, my symptoms are yet again completely different from both boys. I still think this is a boy, though. Not from symptoms but because I can't imagine having anything BUT a boy [emoji4]!

Ladies, when did your symptoms begin?
I am almost 6 weeks and having a dating scan on Monday. Besides being very tired and huge boobs I have nothing else. Different from my other pregnancies where I wasn't tired at all but had ms start at 10 weeks and 1 week. Makes me worry!

Give it some time. This pregnancy MS started at 4 weeks, with DS2 at 6 weeks, and with DS1 at 8 weeks. I'm sure it will come, full force and all [emoji4]!
Oddly enough, I never got sore boobs this time! Maybe since I weaned DS2 the cycle before we conceived my boobs just didn't need to prepare for BFing? Not sure why it didn't happen this time but that is my only guess.
You're 6 weeks behind me. I'm 12 weeks 1 day today!
So happy for you! For all of us!
Are you going to find out early with a NIPT? I hope to get my results back next week from the MaterniT21 test!!

Temerity- I am so sorry that you're having a rough time with DH. They will never quite get it.
I am still feeling awful. Spotting is still coming and going. I'm so tired still. No meds are hoping but luckily I get a decent day every once in awhile. I have a cleaning lady so luckily I can let things slide around the house with the day to day stuff. DH is a really sympathetic husband too. I lucked out. I hope this doesn't last my typical 22 weeks. There is too much going on this summer! All of my boys are done with school for the summer but DD1 is still on for 2 more weeks. We are traveling a bit this summer and have camps set up etc. going to be very busy and I need a break from the sickness!! :( Can't wait to find out what we are having but that'll be awhile too. I have only had one distinct symptom with the girls and so far it's looking like a girl. But we shall see. I just want to shop!

Pebbles- I had a few pregnancies where I was fine until almost 8 weeks. Not the case this go around. But maybe that's what is happening for you! Or maybe you'll get lucky and be fine! FX

At 5 weeks, I don't have much other than sore boobs. With DS2 I felt sick from before 4 weeks but DS1 it was later, maybe 5 or 6 weeks. I got heartburn really early last time too, might be because I was almost 10kg heavy with DS2 compared to this time and with DS1.

I will be 8 weeks on wed. Feeling nauseous everyday, and usually it is all day and gets worse if I don't eat every hour or so.i hate feeling like this so much.i suffer from anxiety with it. But I also keep telling myself I have it easy compared to women who are throwing up every hour every day.

Let the pregnancy cravings begin! I had a dream last night and HAVE to have this for lunch: a roast beef sub sandwich on a hoagie bun with iceberg lettuce and Roma tomatoes and a mixed green side salad with diced Roma tomatoes, shaved carrots, shredded cheese and my tummy Bolthouse ranch dressing ( the best ranch dressing I've ever tasted and is only 45 calories made with ingredients you actually know!)!
Looks like I have to go to the grocery store before lunch [emoji1]!
I'm working out in a few so I won't feel guilty about my lunch!!!
How is everyone else doing/feeling?

Oh Smarston, I hope you can get relief soon! I still feel nauseous from time to time but it doesn't last as long as it used to nor is it as severe.
My lunch was delicious!! I savored every bite!

Sorry ladies that most of you feel so sick:( Look on the other side of it you are not gaining a lot of weight.
As for me I can't stop eating:hair: On top of it all I'm too tired all the time ans sleepy. It is really hard to admit how much weight i gained already. I really hope i will be more active after the second trimester. My DH says i will be a rhino this time, why I'm not offended? lol:)

I'm currently regretting some of my meal choices today. I have been craving a bean burrito from Baja Fresh and it tasted ok while eating it but I've been miserable since then :(
Still, your sandwich sounds amazing. How are you feeling?

I was surprisingly fine! I must have needed the nutrients. My nausea is tolerable now and comes and goes- it doesn't last ally day anymore. Heartburn is another story. I don't former giving up my Zantac any time soon :/
I sure hope you ladies get some relief once you get to the second trimester like me! I can't believe I made it to 12.5 weeks!!

Nausea is still all day for me, annoying headache that won't go away, and I can't keep my eyes open :/ I seriously wish I could sleep until I'm in the 2nd trimester! The only thing that sounds good and doesn't make me nauseous is fruit right now.

Oh darlings... The MS sounds terrible.. I'm so sorry you're still feeling it.
XX, that ranch dressing sounds yum and low cal. Do you make or buy it?
I'm exhausted tonight... I didn't take cough medicine last night because I don't want to overdo it and again.. I woke after only 4 hours sleep. Grrrrr....
XX, sorry to bring this up but I have to.. When are you expecting your results??

The dressing is called Bolthouse and is in the section where the salad is at the grocery store. It's refrigerated.
I'm thinking with the Memorial Day weekend, maybe Thursday or Friday at the earliest? Could be the following week too [emoji53]. I hope it's sooner though, but if not, I have my scan on 6/2 to look forward to!
I'm feeling the baby more and more. Stronger flutters and rolls [emoji4]!

Hey ladies, had my dating ultrasound today. Measuring 6 weeks and my due date is 3 days later than what I thought based on ovulation. Does it mean I ovulated a little later than I think? Wish the heartbeat could have been picked up today.

Nope, my OB said that the dates measure when the baby implanted. So excited for you!!

Was hoping it meant later ovulation. Been worried about attempt being too close to ovulation. I know timing is debatable. ...just a waiting game now.
