I haven't used an ovulation test since I conceived DD :D
I plan on using clearblue digital - not the advanced just the digital.
I'm just wondering should I be starting to use them this month as practice for next month? Also is once a day enough to test or would twice a day be best?

TIA :)

True,
I started testing several months just to get a feel of it. And yes, from cycle 9 I tested 2-3 times a day to record the time of a truly positive one as you will ovulate in 36 hours approx. I tested at least after lunch and dinner. Plus it gives you a broader idea when you will usually O, if you are regular. of course it can happen earlier or later, at least you will be ready:)
GL!

I might have been a little too laid back :)
I will start testing this month and hopefully have an idea for next month. I am charting too and ovulation is typically CD 13, 14 or 15.

I prefer Wondfos, the Clearblues are SOOO expensive!

Thanks guys :)
Atomic I did plan on using wondfos but have to order them online and they can sometimes be fakes - the clearblue I can buy locally and they are so straight forward it's almost worth paying the extra :)
That said if I don't conceive in the first few months I will likely change to wonfos for cost.

True,

I have Wonfos, Clearblue Digital and the monitor. To be honest I like Wondfos the best, but i would absolutely back it up with smth else. The digital i never got high fertility only peak fertility right away about 3 days prior ovulation I think, then it was stuck at some point, then it was broken for several days with no explanation:hair: The monitor, if you have an extra trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night might not pick up the concentration, because you are using FMU (at lest that what I felt like, might be totally wrong). Again, with the monitor I never got high fertility, peak fertility right away. And with the Wondfos I could clearly see fade in and at least be prepared, plus they are cheap so I tested even 4-5 time a day on a certain days. I also have both fake and original one Wonfdos, the original one have blue holder and the fake one green, I can post a pic if you want me to:)
Sorry True, I just felt like I need to share it with you before you will spend some significant amount of money on it:)

Thank you sc1411 that's really helpful and food for thought. I have to order from eBay - I will look at the wondfos again it would be good to test as often as I wanted to on the days approaching ovulation :)

Good luck Groovy :)
I'm getting really excited now it's so close!! I wish I had started testing last month - I tested for 6 months before my last sway. I think Im a tad bit too relaxed about it this time

What about Boots own brand ovulation tests? Anyone any experience?
