I have 2 boys so decided to try and sway for this one and it was just confirmed GIRL!!! I am so excited so here is what we did!!!
Timing O+12
DH did 10 day abstain
1 attempt
Diet 6 weeks before attempt (me and DH)- no red meat, no salty things or a lot of K, I just ate a lot of salads and I would eat white meat chicken. I skipped breakfast (which was so hard!!!). stayed away from bananas and cereal. I cut down on my calories and I only drank water and an occasional juice. I didn't drink ETOH or take Ca supplements.
Prior to attempt I used vinegar and water douche, we took a hot bath, DTD very shallow, and then we both prayed :) I also put in a vinegar water douche tampon for 3 hours after DTD.

Hope this helps someone!!! I did a lot of research on this site before our attempt. I realized my diet with my 2 boys was the typical boy diet as well as my natural Ph was higher. So I think this was the most important factors!!!

Thanks! This sounds like a doable sway for me. Thanks for the motivation.

While I choose not to be nitpicky for sways that have already occurred and am super happy for everyone who gets their DG, this is not the type of sway I would recommend in many ways and is absolutely not the right thing for everyone to do. There are a couple things in it that could be actually dangerous for people with certain health issues and anyone much over 35 should not do some of these tactics.

Again, not trying to pick apart anyone's sway but if you're looking for sway tactics some of these are not the ones that anyone should be pursuing.

Namely abstain? And douche? Maybe this isn't the place to ask, my apologies if it's out of term.

Was it the praying? Jk! Seriously though, what is not typically recommended? Because i was planning on doing all of the things mentioned.

Argh, well, doing this under protest and again nlkwb8 I am very happy you got your DD and not trying to pick apart your sway.

May not be right for everyone - abstain

Cuts odds of conception too far - douching, lime tampon, O+12, shallow release

May be dangerous - cutting back on potassium UNLESS you are also eating tons of dairy to make up for it, and the type of diet she says she followed is not healthy enough (she probably had more variety than that but I am just mentioning for anyone who is looking for something to emulate - this is not it)

You would need to pray to get pg doing all these things. Seriously, while a handful of people are able to get pg doing all this jazz, the vast majority cannot, and then that leaves you on diet too long, wasting away to nothing, and stopping ovulation.

I actually got pregnant on the first try. And my diet did have more I just cut out the big stuff. I am also a nurse so I know I had enough of each electrolyte that I needed.

I actually got pregnant the first try (which was surprising!). It took me 6+ mo. with my DS not trying any gender swaying. And with my diet, I was eating so much healthier than I ever had in my life and had more energy than I have ever had. The hardest part was skipping breakfast, but I just ate a few smaller meals spread out for the rest of the day/snacks.
