Second lh surge / positive opk 3 days after ovulation

Hi had a positive opk Tuesday and it started turning negative Thursday. I am 90% sure I have ovulated as has the pinching pains, ewcm e.t.c. anyway took another opk today around 3.30pm and it was positive again. It control line was slightly darker than the test line but not as dark as my first post I've opk on Tuesday. Anyone else had this?

Anyone? What do I do? Should we bd again tonight even though we bd fri night? Or wait till tomorrow night?

I do not know how many attempts you are aiming for or how quickly you want to get pregnant but if it was me i would just leave it at the one attempt you had.

I would BD Monday night in case you had a false surge the first time. This happened to me the cycle before we conceived.

DTD again.

THe first one may have been a faker. You can have the exact same symptoms INCLUDING O pain and not release an egg, then your body regroups to try again as soon as it can.

What about the second time it tries. Would I have the same symptoms? We bd last Friday and was going to bd again on Monday but we were way too tired. So we bd fri and I got another positive sunday . If it was a true second lh surge I would have ovulated Monday or today.

Either Monday or today really. Unless you are temping it is hard to say for sure. Unfortunately pains and symptoms are not good indicators of O.

Since the miscarriage I have always had cramps and back ache during the time I ovulate . At least the time I THINK I'm ovulating. This is just stressing me about big time now . How easy it was to get pregnant before and now if I haven't caught the egg this month, nxt month will be month 5 of ttc

You can get cramps before, during, and after ovulation though. So you could be getting similar symptoms and then the egg hasn't been released, if that makes sense.

I once had a fake O when I was breastfeeding that was more real than some of my actual O's are! I had EWCM and O pain but never got AF - after a trip to the doctor's office for bloodwork he told me that he sees that fairly regularly.

I do not have enough data to know which (if either) is more effective. Go with what feels best to you.
