I wonder sometimes how it became so WEIRD to have a family of 4-6. Those used to be pretty run of the mill and historically that is about the number of kids a woman would tend to have over the course of a lifetime using natural family spacing using the average time between kiddos in pre-technical countries where women taking the babies as they come.

I always enjoy it when I talk to someone in the grocery store and then I reveal I actually have FIVE children, not three, and they get this look on their face that is like "You, Madam, are worse than Hitler". :smoke:

I love love love this! I'm so fed up of people thinking I'm a freak for having more than the 'average' number of children. So what?! I think big families are great, I would be bored with less children!! If I do reach 6 then I'm sure I'll be getting even stranger looks ;-))
