There goes my sway.

So I wanted to sway pink in October... but just got a vfp (very feint positive). I'm so upset, I have 4 boys. My default setting is boy maker!
I've only just started the le diet and been on it 2 weeks. I've lost 4kg and 1kg around ovulation. I'm still 20kg over my lowest preconception weight. I did lose about 20kg in the last 10 months (post reggae weight) I've not eaten meat for 16 years. I drank 1 percent milk and switched to aspartame. Had only just started fibre. We also only had one "attempt" the day of o (which I only now realise).
I'm so very upset. I didn't even get to try for a girl.

I'm sorry it didn't go according to plan. Please try your best to remember that although you didn't get to sway as you'd liked, you're still in with a chance - you'd been making changes and have been losing weight. Hang in there... xx

Try not to be too disappointed, as bunnywabbit said you are certainly in with a chance, you had made changes and it sounds like you had a fairly girl friendly lifestyle. I think it's great you lost weight right around ovulation, that's got to be a good thing. There is hope! Fingers crossed you get your lil girl :)

Always a chance! And you were losing weight and I think that's part of the key! Even if you weren't at your lowest your body recognized that your were dropping pounds.

I do understand being upset too though; not trying to discount your feelings. You DID sway, just not for a really long time. Keep us posted, lots of support here too.

sounds like a sway to me! Even if it was light you still have a chance for pink. Don't beat yourself up! And keep us posted this is a very non judgemental place to be for GD X X

There is always a chance of a girl and any change you make only will help.

One attempt has gotten great results for us and timing doesn't sway. So please don't worry about having an attempt on O, the best study ever done on timing and intercourse found about 50-50 B and G conceived every day of the cycle and actually a teeny bump on O day and O-1.
