So I don't know what in the world is going on with my body but it seems I have a positive opk on CD 4. I had ewcm with spotting so I don't even know why the heck I tested. I tested with clear blue this morning and got a smiley face. Did again this afternoon with clear blue and dollar tree and both positive. HPT negative. Anyone had this happen?24941

:(
Just bummed, I was hoping for a normal cycle...LOL (yea right) I can't imagine ovulating so early but I will see what tomorrow brings. I had a short LP last cycle too. IDK!

I am , as best I can. You can peek if u want. Last cycle was strange. FF gave me dotted CH on cd 18. I had a pos opk on cd 15 and no temp rise until cd 19 I think. Temps were low too.

It is possible to ovulate early- I did with DS1. I ovulated CD5! I think you have a great shot with your BDing! FX for you!

It might also be a false surge so I would keep temping and using opks (if they don't stress you out). Otherwise, I would just keep BDing every 3 days this cycle, ie. CD7, CD10, CD13, etc, all they way through the latest you ever Oed.

Really? It is so crazy! Another very positive opk this am. It was fmu so i will test later. My body is crazy. XX were you charting with DS1? You know for sure you ovulated early?

This question may have already been asked but what opks are you using? I've heard of some fake wondfos out there giving false positives. What's your cm doing?

I wasn't charting but was monitored. I had a liver issue that resolved shortly before I conceived DS1, and the US dated him the earliest I could have ovulated.

I am using clearblue. I had some ewcm with spotting yesterday that is why I tested. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be be positive.

You may just have a long surge or your opks could be too sensitive. I was having 5+ days of +opks when I was using the Wondfo and CB digital opks. It was super annoying because I was supposed to BD the day of +opk, but then wouldn't O till many many days later. So I switched to the Babi brand opk and they must be less sensitive because now I only get 2 days of +opks which is much better. I have over 60 charts of my own to look back on and tend to always O on day 14 or 15, so I really didn't need +opks starting on CD9 as it just makes me doubt myself!

Yes today is day 3 of positive opk and it is super annoying. I started using clear blue because I was tired at staring at the lines on wondfo to decide if one was darker! Lol Just so over it!

And I honestly thought clear blue were less sensitive.

For what it's worth I only get a positive on a clear blue if it's actually positive!

I think this is why the every 4 days plan is so attractive. Takes the guesswork out.

I know! I have used them in the past and they have been reliable. I don't know what is going on. The lines are lighter today than yesterday but still have a smiley.

I agree but I have been TTC for over a year and swaying for 6 months about so I want to bd as close to O as possible.

What about switching to BD every 3 days?

Ya maybe that's a better plan ^

I have been with one attempt at positive opk. :) Although DH attacked me last night at a weak moment because DS1 slept at his nana's so we had 2 attempts...if it was even an attempt! LOL

:agree: and it is also one less thing to focus on.

REmember those old school sways where people were temping and charting and doing OPK and testing pH 3x a day and checking CM and CP?? The more we ******line it, make it more instinctive and less at the forefront of our brains constantly, the better our results seem to be.

I am praying I do not get to the next cycle but "IF" I do, BD every 3 days and that will be that. I will need to be held accountable because It seems like every month there is something different and there probably will always be something.
