I know I keep asking a bunch of questions, and this won't be the last time, I'm sure, haha...
But here's my deal. Just starting out on this diet and this is what I ate today:
11:00 - 2 pop-tarts, 35(ish) jelly beans (i was shopping and opened them for my toddler to keep him quiet, and... welp.. ;))
3:00 - diet soda
4:00 - 2 egg whites, 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1 slice American cheese, 1 FiberOne chocolate chip cookie bar, 1 banana
7:30 - 1 apple, peeled, 1.5 piece cake, 5 Starburst candies
I've attached a screenshot of my nutrition...
Calories are 1700, so I'm staying within my limits. I'm obviously going to work on getting more potassium in, but is this kind of a menu workable at all? I find myself eating sweets with my meals to keep my calorie count up... is that too much sugar? Is it messing me up to eat sugar with the protein? I am completely overwhelmed by this whole diet, but I'm determined, too! :) Oh, and I'm 5'4 and 117 with a BMI of 20.1... not sure if that matters..
Thanks, lovely ladies!

Edited: realized you may not be able to see photo...it's 34 g fat and 41 g protein... and 391 potassium (!!!).
