We BD 2 days ago without a +OPK because I was getting eggwhite. Got another patch today after a clear thermal shift. Should we go again?

Have you tried testing with an OPK again? Got a link to your chart? Were your temps taken at the same time?

I thought I O'd a few days ago and then got EWCM and tested yesterday and got an OPK+, but the difference is I didn't get the clear thermal shift.

I have posted this in now three places, so forgive me, but I had the same exact thing happen to me. No positive opk (I did in all of my past cycles), another run of EWCM after a somewhat decent temp rise to confirm O, and blah post O temps! Look at my signature. Let's see what the next few days bring. If you get a second temp rise, I'll feel even better about your chart!

I'm holding out hope and axing everything for you!!!

Since you had a clear shift it's probably too late, so BD if you are in the mood to. If not, I'd hold off for now unless you're ready to drop the one attempt in favor of upping odds of conception.

Looking at your chart (which I didnt' see the first reply, sorry) I think you have ovulated and are in with a well timed attempt.

Good luck and pink dust heade your way.

Oh no! We made a 2nd attempt because I thought I was way too early and never actually got a +OPK. So if I am pregnant, I hope it happened with the first attempt. Here is an updated chart.

How does this affect my chances for the girl sway now given that we BD twice within 3 days? All this work for nothing? Geez!!

I think you're fine. 2 attempts are getting 60% pink. Don't stress!

I sure pray so guys! Makes me wonder what I was stressed about on Wednesday to prolong it. Never mind...just thinking about what it was clearly stresses me out. Lol!

Studies have shown that even experts with a high level of experience cannot pin down day of ovulation much beyond random chance and there is no benefit to knowing what day O was anyway. CD 15-16 is my guess based on the chart, but may have been later. I can't get the second chart to expand to get a good look

To me it looks like the first attempt was too early and then the last attempt was too late leaving you with one good attempt. But I can't get the new chart to get bigger than a thumbnail and can't see it well

I cannot get that chart to expand big enough to see and frankly I am NOT convinced. FF gets things wrong all the time. Could be a stairstep rise.

atomic sagebrush

why open dots?

I still think you Oed earlier, FF is getting confused by one measly high temp back on CD 5 (the CD 1 temp is too early to count) but it doesn't matter. It is totally irrelevant for the reason I mentioned before, the CD 18 attempt would have likely been too late because if anything was left from CD 15, it would have fertilized the egg before the CD 18 attempt would even have had time to capacitate.

I think no matter how you slice it you are in with about 1 viable attempt.

Hi Atomic! Finally officially out at CD 33 and 15DPO. Any tips for attempt #3? I set an RE appt. For the 29th. Anything I need to know beforehand? What should I discuss?

We BD 3 days before O and day of O because I felt like I had missed the LH surge. I ovulated really late for some reason. No J&D, missionary, legs up in the air for 5 minutes. Is there anything that I need to tell RE next week? Here is my chart.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05/20/7a30b23dfe584a9d7489293a0deee0fc.jpg

Anything else?? Diet, supps, jellies, etc?

I suspect this probably just wasn't the best timed attempts. Bad luck. Next month you'll probably have better luck and be in with attempt on O-2 or 1 and that is better odds of conception. I also strongly suggest continuing BD even after you think you ovulated because due to open circle I"m not totally sure you Oed when you think you did (given that LP was 15 days) I agree it looks that way given the chart but even one day of difference may have mattered.

you could also try laying down longer - increase to 15-30 min

I'd tell RE that you've been TTC for several months but don't push him/her for anything. They get weird if you go in with too many questions.

Oh yes! Been on LE 17 weeks straight. Super strict. Still only taking folic. Fiber every once in a while because I'm on the road so much and it scares me. Hubby ran out of OLE. Need to find more. Not easy. No jellies at all.

atomic sagebrush
May 21st, 2015, 10:49 AM
Let's loosen up a bit now. No more fiber anyway. Add in zinc 8-15 mg 3x a week, iodine 150 IU daily (unless you have thyroid issues in which case ask doc first) and iron 18-30 mg 3x a week. 10-15 min of sun on bare skin daily.

Ok. Is this for just me or the both of us? I must admit that I'm nervous about supplementing. How much does this decrease my chances by?

atomic sagebrush
May 22nd, 2015, 11:07 AM
Over time on the diet you have used up your body's stores of nutrients and NEED MORE to function. I cannot answer questions about how much/if this affects a sway, I don't have the info I'd need to do that, but what I do know is you need certain amounts of nutrients in your body to have good health and conceive and after 17 weeks it is time to relax on diet and add in sups.

Just for you. Is your husband actually doing diet?

fefecooks
May 22nd, 2015, 11:28 AM
Maybe this would explain the headaches and dizziness? No, he's not on the diet.

That can also be lower blood sugar. Give it a try with the iron especially and if you find yourself feeling dramatically better after taking it (I mean you'd start to feel it within an hour) we need to increase to take every day for 2 weeks before going back to 3x a week.

fefecooks
May 22nd, 2015, 01:31 PM
Ok. Dizziness, cloudiness and confusion subsided. Slight headache still after taking 18mg iron 1 hour ago. I haven't had time to eat my first meal yet and it's 1:30. Hopefully that helps even more.
