Hey girls! I'm back :). And thinking a bit about my next sway. We plan on trying for another :DD: in about 6 months, so I have plenty of time, but it's never too early to plan ahead, yea?

Ok, so just trying to brush up on some things I might have forgotten. I know that cranberry pills during 2WW is a big NO. But what about vit. C? That could possibly cause m/c right? So should that be cut out as well?

In addition to cran pills I will be taking Calcium, Magnesium, asidophilis, B12, and Vit. C.

Thanks!

You might want to do a little bit of reading...lotsa new info!!

My personal opinion is a) don't take Vit. C for a pink sway and b) don't ever quit taking any vitamins cold turkey because your body gets used to nutrients at a certain level and stopping them cold turkey is NOT going to help you get pg at all or help to sustain that pregnancy. So if you want to take the Vit. C, take it in a small enough dosage that you can continue it safely during the 2WW and throughout pregnancy, and when you want to stop taking a vitamin, please stop it slowly rather than suddenly.

Yes, as people are prob. tired of hearing me say at this point, I think nutrients across the boards sway blue, not pink. I would not take Vit. C or B12 for a pink sway, I think baby aspirin is better than cranberry, and I have grave doubts about cal-mag as well.

Hi girls! And thanks so much :-). Will definitely have to do some reading!! I'm sure things have changed since my sway. It's been a little bit :)

Well, it's just that I have a different focus than IG does and so sometimes the evidence seems to lead me in a diff. direction than it does them.

You had success the IG way and who wants to mess with success??

gotcha! I thought maybe IG also changed their info as well. But I see now that it's just two different points of view. Very cool! And I agree, since the IG formula worked for me last time, I will probably just stick with it again. As you say, 'why mess with success'? hehe. But this new info is fabulous for women that didn't find sucess with some of the IG methods, whether it be there second, third, or more sway. Then I feel that something different is needed, kwim? I think eveyone's body chemisty is different and a formula that works for one might not work for another. You have some great things on this site though and not everything is different from what I remember. Lots of great info and support :-)

I have grave doubts about cal-mag as well.

I was under the impression that Cal-Mag swayed PINK??? This was going to be a part of my Pink sway soon.. should I reconsider?

Deux Bleus, according to one theory cal-mag sways pink. But I have a lot of doubts about whether or not that is true and you can read about them in this essay (be sure to follow the links at the end to part 2 and part 3 of the same essay for more.) Human beings couldn't even digest dairy until quite recently, most of the adults in the world still cannot digest dairy, and countries that eat the most dairy (like Scandinavia) actually have more boys than countries where every woman is lactose intolerant and eats little/no dairy at all.

The Oxford Study http://rspb.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/275/1643/1661.full also found more sons conceived to women who ate the most calcium.
