View Full Version : Cardio to couch to cardio?

I was just getting into the swing of things and really doing well with the cardio, and then between my polyp removal and a sinus infection I didn't work out for 7 days.
Should I start again or just get lazy? I found it comforting to burn some calories every day since I still have weight I can lose.
I'll be making my attempt likely in 3 weeks.

I would pick it back up if you feel up for it. If not, then don't. I too really liked exercising.
You'll do great either way you decide to go!!

I didn't expect to WANT to! I used to be a 15-20 min work out kinda gal; 60 mins felt FOREVER in the beginning. I felt I'd glance at my phone or my polar every 5 mins lol!! Now I can at least get 1/3 the way in before peeking ;)
I just wasn't sure if it was a known boy sway or harmful for a girl sway to bounce off and on like that.
I'll be pulling the nikes out tomorrow :)

I used to walk 4mph and read a book at the same time...helped the time fly by...

I would have you exercise. Anyone with the weight to spare, the results have been so spectacular for so long that I think it is best to include it when possible.

I wish I had a treadmill - yesterday, today and for days in the forcast we have rain :( I'll have to break out the YouTube dance parties I guess lol

I have found that I really enjoy just putting some songs on and dancing with the kids. The time flies by and it is more like something I"m doing with them instead of being all like "go away I'm exercising" (since I have to say that often enough when I"m working. :( )

I feel you. I too find its a very fun way to do it but i do find my intensity level isn't the same (not that it matters lol) but I do try to get myself some good heart pumpin cardio a few days a week. I also love my double stroller - I bought it to bike with it, but it's so hilly here that pushing it is a crazy workout! My hubby couldn't believe it when he finally came with me the other night :)

Well, I'm a maniac, maniac on the floor...so, let's just say it's prob. a good thing I don't have any neighbors peeking in the windows. :)

oh and I had to get rid of the double stroller myself, it was impossible for me to handle!

Lol! That's awesome
.. I find the height the stroller hurts my shoulders - especially it I try and jog with it.. Last night despite my week off was my best night yet. The 15 yr old and I did the 60 mins and mostly jogged it (just hiked the hills but the rest was jogging) im kinda pleased with myself [emoji5]️
